Get on board on the ground floor! a thick green mist, a lush chill vibe; after 5 years and countless self-released tapes and CDs, Megabog - the brainchild of songwriter Erin Birgy - have completed their best work to date; a swirling pop cloud called Gone Banana. Influenced equally by the emotional psychedelia of Kevin Ayers and the pop whimsy of Steely Dan, Gone Banana is a joyous declaration of artistic independence and purpose. Alternately a tender songwriting project, a blazin-hot jazz-rock combo, or an open forum for goofy one-offs and fragile experimentation, Mega Bog is ultimately whatever Birgy wants it to be on a given day. Sounding equal parts Ariel Pink and Prefab Sprout, the assembled cast rip through 9 hazy burners with a tightness hidden behind layers of drizzle and reverb. Metal Parts are Flimsy

The wood shelf part is very nice, but the hardware is lacking for this length of shelf. The bracket that mounts to the wall is very thin metal, and mine was warped so that I had to bend it a bit to mount it straight. It also allows the shelf to bounce at the slightest touch, even though it is attached at the studs. I had to use a couple of chair brackets on the bottom of the shelf to keep it steady, which kind of defeats the "floating shelf" look. That said, with the brackets it is now quite sturdy and doesn't look bad at all.

Absolute perfection! Beautiful NATURAL, solid wood. These are not your straight manufactured shelves. These shelves are beautiful with all of their beautiful characteristics. No two shelves are a like and nor should they! I highly recommend the live edge boards for an upscale look.
