Following up on their eponymous debut LP, this Western Mass quintet has released a live album that expands their musical palette, while retaining the essential magic of their sound. Bill Meyer described Weeping Bong Band's music as a collision between Popol Vuh's Florian Fricke and Hash Jar Tempo (itself a collab between Bardo Pond and Roy Montgomery), and the same mix of drifty Germanic midnights and Bay Area Ballroom sizzle is present on Weeping Bong's sophomore slab. Recorded at the 1794 Meeting House in New Salem, MA - the site of many finely smoked concert events - all five key members are on hand (which is not always the case). Beverley Ketch, PG Six, Anthony Pasquarosa, Clark Griffin and Wednesday Knudsen are all present and up to their necks in the sonic swirl. A big new factor here is the piano, played in a style that makes me think of Grace Slick's keyboard work on Blows Against the Empire. This is appropriate given that Weeping Bong Band is a similar sort of multi-band-sourced collaboration as that classic 1970 Paul Kantner side. And since the same folks played on both Kantner's Empire and Crosby's If I Could Only Remember My Name, is it a coincidence that one track on this album is called "Remembering My Name"? You be the judge. Amidst the clouds of quiet presence, strings are plucked or bent, pulses emerge from the darkness, and your brain flows like butter. Just turn out the lights and do it. I love it, it works great.

I received the Electric Milk Frother, EW-071, about 2 weeks age and absolutely love it. I don’t froth milk or drink coffee either. What I do, do is for years I have mixed my own mushroom drink, way before all this mushroom coffee fad began. I also mix in other ingredients, collagen, creatine, ginger powder, cinnamon, and a few other items and the coffee frothers do such a poor job of mixing them all up. The EW-071 with the Balloon Wisk does a wonderful job. It is high powered so be careful, if you totally fill the cup expect a mess, think before using this unit it is powerful. I also like the on – off buttons. With the other frothers you have to hold the button, I hate that. I do keep my thumb close to the on - off button but have not had a spill yet.

BUY THIS FROTHER! IT'S THE BEST & THE LOWEST PRICE.

I have had a couple of other frothers, and I really like this one the best! It has ALL the different frothing tools, and it is rechargeable, not needing batteries, which is a plus. Another big plus is that it is very attractive and has the best (lowest) price of all the others. I must have looked at 100 different brands, and this one is amazing. The different speeds are separate buttons, making it much easier than the ones where you have to keep hitting the same button to get to other speeds. My other one was too fast & the milk would go all over the place, including my clothes! This frother would make a great gift. I gave my old one to my daughter... now she's coming over this week, and she's going to want my new one. ;-)
