Six Questions Your Noodles & Company Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We developed this franchise unit business plan in Microsoft Word based on our own analysis of the fast-casual restaurant model. All six chapters are pre-populated with researched data tailored to opening and operating a franchise unit, including financial projections showing first-year revenue of $1,350,000. The entire document is fully editable, allowing you to adapt the plan to your specific location and operational strategy.

1. What is the core business opportunity?

The opportunity is to open a franchise unit in a high-traffic urban village, leveraging a proven digital-first operating model to serve health-conscious professionals, families, and students. The business is projected to achieve a 4-year payback period by capitalizing on strong local demand for convenient, high-quality, and customizable fast-casual meals.

Key Success Factors

  • Prime real estate in the Aldrich Street urban village ensures high visibility and foot traffic.
  • A 'digital-first' model with Quick Pickup and curbside service meets modern consumer demands.
  • Targeting diverse customer segments from tech workers to families provides stable revenue streams.
[dynamic_pic9]

2. What does the franchise unit sell?

The unit sells fresh, made-to-order global cuisine with a focus on variety and dietary flexibility. The value proposition is a healthier, higher-quality alternative to traditional fast food, delivered with exceptional speed and convenience through its digital ordering channels.

Primary Revenue Streams

  • Noodle Bowls are projected to generate $500,000 in the first year of operations.
  • Pasta Specialties and Salads and Sides provide menu depth and customization.
  • Catering Orders, launching in June 2026, target local corporate and medical partners.
[dynamic_pic10]

3. Who are the local customers?

The primary customers are health-conscious tech professionals, young families in the Mueller urban village, and University of Texas students. The unit will also target staff at the nearby Dell Children's Medical Center who require fast and convenient meal options, creating a diverse and resilient customer base.

Target Customer Segments

  • Tech professionals seeking quick, healthy lunch and dinner options.
  • Local families desiring customizable and high-quality meals.
  • University students looking for affordable and varied global cuisine.
[dynamic_pic11]

4. How will the unit attract and retain customers?

Customer acquisition will be driven by localized social media campaigns, community engagement like school fundraisers, and direct B2B outreach for catering. Retention is built through an 'Eco-Friendly Austin' initiative that resonates with local values and a seamless digital experience that encourages repeat business.

Marketing and Sales Channels

  • Digital ordering platforms (mobile app, website) for Quick Pickup and curbside service.
  • Localized social media targeting Mueller district residents and professionals.
  • Direct sales outreach to secure high-volume catering contracts with local businesses.
[dynamic_pic12]

5. Who will run the franchise unit?

The unit will be run by a full-time General Manager and an Assistant Manager, overseeing a team of kitchen staff and frontline crew. This structure ensures consistent execution of the franchisor's brand standards, manages high-speed digital order fulfillment, and maintains a high level of customer service. Staffing is planned to scale with revenue, starting with 9.0 full-time equivalent employees in 2026.

Core Management Team

  • A General Manager with an annual salary of $75,000 responsible for overall operations.
  • An Assistant Manager to support daily management and staff supervision.
  • A trained team of kitchen and frontline staff to deliver on the brand's promise.
[dynamic_pic13]

6. What are the key financial metrics?

The total startup capital requirement is an estimated $945,000, covering the franchise fee, leasehold improvements, and equipment. The unit is projected to generate $1,350,000 in revenue in its first year and reach breakeven within 3 months of opening. This profesonal food service business plan document outlines a clear path to profitability, with a 5.0% royalty fee and a 1.25% marketing fee as key ongoing costs.

Financial Plan Highlights

Just perfect.
Color: Gold Havana/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
I saw this model of Ray Bans while watching Top Gun: Maverick. Actor John Hamm (Cyclone, in the movie) sported these during the beach scene. I looked for them here in Amazon and was lucky to find them for less than $100. They fit just great, and the lenses (G-15), give a clear and high definition picture. I definitely recommend them, perfect for driving, cycling, or your next F/A-18 mission.

Almost like they used to be...
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
These are the 3rd pair of Caravans I've owned over the years. The 1st pair were chrome frames and got mangled one time when I had set them on the trunk of the car to fill-up and drove away without them. Went back after only 100 yards or so, but by then they had been clipped by another car and were toast. Kept the lenses, sent the frame back to B&L (when they were still in Rochester -- and when customer service really WAS important to the company) and they sent back a brand-new pair of black-framed beauties -- FOR FREE! This pair recently experienced a broken frame - right at the junction of the lower curved piece that holds the lens frames together. (How this happened, I have no idea. I was wearing them. Put them in my shirt pocket. Took them out, put them on, and the lens was still in my pocket!) Now, Bausch & Lomb is owned by Luxottica (in Atlanta, GA.) Not entirely friendly, I would say, especially in the tone of the service rep's voice and bluntness. And I was told my only hope of getting any kind of satisfaction was to ship the broken pair to them and after examination they would decide whether it was a manufacturing defect or a customer caused one. Believe me -- there are NO damage marks on these black frames. The frame just cracked due to what? Fatigue, I guess. If judged in my favor they'd give me a substantial discount (40%, I believe) off list price on another pair that they might have in stock at the time. Egads! Talk about leaving you feeling helpless. NONE of the frames and lenses shown were to my liking, so I opted out of that choice and decided to search Amazon for a pair to my liking. So, this brings me to the new ones -- the subject at hand. The lenses on these are advertised as being 55mm wide, which they are. However, the original Caravans were 58mm wide = a small but perceptable difference, especially in field-of-view coverage AND how they look on your face. The G15 lenses seem to be the same tint, and the color (gun metal grey) is very nice. They fit well, and are what one would expect given the name RayBan. Therefore, I recommend them. [Footnote: As for my broken 58mm black-framed pair -- I looked up repair shops on the I-net, found 2 that seemed to talk a good game, picked one (in Cincinnati) and shipped them off today to have the frame laser welded. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they'll come back in usable shape (as promised) and I will again have my Old Faithfull's back. $35 to save a no-longer-made classic pair of RayBans is worth it in my book.]

Classic Design!! But the 55mm frame is too small..
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
Really solid frame and arrived rather fast (7 days before the expected date). It included the original packaging, booklets, cloth and case (the brown one) in the original box. Was surprised that it felt quite heavy, or at least more than what Im used to, although when I wear it I can't really feel the weight. The weight also adds to the feel of it making its structure feel a little more solid that lighter sunglasses. Unfortunately, the 55mm gunmetal + green G 15 lens which I ordered, is about 6 millimetres too small at the sides for me although the lens and front frame are the right size for me and it's actually still wearable. (it's just me). I would probably get the 58mm gold + green G15 later to see if there's a big difference (shouldn't be from the measurements given). That and the fact that these are a great pair of shades with a really classic design

Nice shoes!
Size: 11, Color: Black Full Grain
I bought them in black and I like them so much I will be buying the brown soon. They fit true to size and are comfortable and stylish. I like the clean simplicity. They're basically a dressy sneaker which is perfect for my job's 'dress code'. Yet they're stylish enough to be worn weekends or a night out. They seemed just a touch stiff out of the box but IMO that's completely normal and fine - after just a couple days of wearing them they are breaking in nicely. No complaints on that. They seem to be of very high quality and I'm very happy with them.
