He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, January 27, 1970 and died in Hollywood, California, December 12, 2008.He had an extraordinary life Ð was loved by all who knew him and blessed with many talents. But he was also afflicted by a genetic mutation called Mcune-Albright. His graceful nature supported his ailing body beyond what science could predict or explain. This book is about - the resiliency of our human nature. All of the incidents depicted in this book took place although they are told with the same positive perspective Mauricio was blessed with. With time, children will look at it again and, hopefully, glean one of lifeÕs essential ingredients: How to face adversity and keep smiling.
