This nutritious mix features dried peaches, apricots, plums, bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and cabbage, expertly combined with Roudybush Daily Maintenance pellets and a generous touch of sunshine. Utilize this diet when transitioning your bird from its previous food to Roudybush. It is suitable for adult birds that are not currently laying eggs or nurturing chicks. Lories and lorikeets that adapt to this diet will experience drier droppings compared to those on nectar. For birds that are habitual egg-layers or those prone to hypocalcaemia (like African Greys), consider blending 2/3 Maintenance with 1/3 High-Energy Breeder to enhance their calcium and vitamin D3 intake. Avoid adding extra vitamin or mineral supplements. You can offer fresh fruit and vegetable treats as a small addition to their diet.
