The sound universe of the young Croatian composer Dubravko Palanović (1977*) is characterized not only by the phenomenon of musical crossover, as a kind of generational determinant, but also by his great receptive power, by his ability to absorb and assimilate various musical influences, styles and genres, and above all by mastering the craft of a classically trained composer. All this allows him to transcend the boundaries of a mere "stylistic blend" that today we almost "mechanically" delineate from a deeper meaning with the already hollowed-out definition of world music.
Although initially made up of a series of recognizable elements, Palanović's music offers to a large extent a personal, original and pregnant tonal substance. His compositions on this CD, for example, bear the imprint of Croatian micro-regions (geographically very close, yet still quite specific and rich in diversity): the traditional music of Dalmatia or the Dalmatian hinterland (Kamene zvijezde – Stone Stars), of Istria and the harsh sounds of its exotic sopela (Mistični putevi Istre - Mystical Paths of Istria), the beautiful songs of the Zagreb surroundings (Sjećam se “Plavog trnaca” – I remember the blue thorn), or the cheerful souls of Slavonia (Drmeš).
The entire album is characterized by a richness of contrasts: atmospheres of intense movement alternate with meditative states, momentary excitements and bursts of explosive energy with sudden relaxations and escapes into contemplation, tonal images of intimate states in which the musicians present their secrets through extroverted musical expressions, full of good vibes. The album Furious dance is a journey into the unknown rich in emotions and new, still unimaginable, musical landscapes, all to be discovered, a music that moves, inspires, and certainly will not leave anyone indifferent.

I love them
Size: 12-18 Months Toddler, Color: Under the Stars Camping Blue Leather
The absolute cutest shoes ever. I will be keeping them forever. The size is perfect, they’re very lightweight, and perfect for indoor outings like the library. They seem pretty comfortable, my son enjoys putting them on.

Hard to put on but easy to come off
Size: 12-18 Months Toddler, Color: Sebastian Shark Blue
As the title says, the shoes were a bit hard to put on and perhaps that was because we were doing it for the first time . However, they would come off super easily and so we lost one of the shoes the second time the baby wore them. That was a bummer as they aren't particularly inexpensive. We didn't really get to try them out as much as we'd have liked but based on what we saw, they looked comfortable and durable. Baby loved the shark design.

Held up for well for 5 months. Fit my son’s chubby feet like no other shoe.
My son has been wearing this shoe since he was 9 months old and was cruising furniture. I bought the 6-12 month size. He started walking at 10 months and is 14 months now. He’s still wearing this shoe and it has held up well. I have him barefoot in the house and mostly use it for when he’s in the back yard, at the gym childcare and when we are out and about. He wears shoes for several hours a day at least, though I bought the Robeez sandals at the start of summer and have been switching between the two pairs. My son has wide feet and doesn’t really fit in anything but soft sole shoes. His feet are about 5” long now and these shoes are getting too small. It’s almost time to size up! They’ve treated us well. Plus they are super cute and match every outfit. He giggles when I put them on.

Cute, different, and good quality
I had these for my kids when they were little. I am now buying them for my first grandchild. They appear to be the same good quality they were years ago. I highly recommend : )

Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps
Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps!! I actually ordered 2 pairs, one for my son in the 12-18 months (even tho he was 10 months old) and a 6-12 month for a friend. The 6-12 month fit my son perfect!! (my son was in a size 5) but I knew they would only last a few weeks so I kept the 12-18 month ones and he started wearing them. He seemed to like them, never tried taking them off and they were easier to walk in than socks but for some reason the top of the foot area is HUGE! They stayed on no problem but lots of wiggle room in the top... He is now running and wears shoes with a thicker sole for the rocks but we still love these for inside when it is too cold to go barefoot. I would say the 12-18 month fit like an average size 6.
