A Long Way from ParisIn this searing, authentic memoir, Elizabeth is hired to herd goats on a remote mountain farm in the South of France where she carves out a life for herself without heat, running water, or even a good grasp of French. Far from her younger life as a New England preppie and Oregon hippie, the challenges of farm work daunt her. In this searing, authentic memoir, Elizabeth is hired to herd goats on a remote mountain farm in the South of France where she carves out a life for herself without heat, running water, or even a good grasp of French. Far from her younger life as a New England preppie and Oregon hippie, the challenges of farm work daunt her. She befriends an Australian shepherd, reflects on her spirituality, and muses on the man she left behind. As she grows stronger, Elizabeth faces her self-doubt while maintaining her humor, eking fun wherever she can. When tragedy strikes Elizabeth's adopted family, she summons belief in herself and becomes the leader they desperately need.

Cool-temperature outer cover
Set name: UltraCool Pillow 2-Pack, King - Soft/Medium, Item length width: 40.0 Inches
The pillows (set of2) are easily fluffed and adjusted to personal desire. The outer cover is cool to the touch. I do not feel "cooler" with the pillow, but it does not get hot like some. I'm a side sleeper and sleep comfortably with the Slumber Cloud. I would buy these again. Con: pillow cover is slick, so pillow cases slide off.

not cooling for post menopause
Set name: UltraCool Pillow, Standard - Medium/Firm Firmness, Item length width: 30.0 Inches
As a post menopausal person I did not find this cooling at all. The material is memory foam which holds heat but more importantly my head sinks in so that half of it is always surrounded by the pillow, trapping heat. It IS a supportive, soft and comfy pillow. For cooling though, I found it better to buy a firmer, thinner pillow which keeps my head from sinking into it, allowing heat to dissipate.

Nice and squishy
Set name: UltraCool Pillow, Standard - Soft/Medium Firmness, Item length width: 30.0 Inches
Not really a "cooling" pillow, but better than a standard or or fiber filled pillow. All these types of pillows and other bed linens are initially cool to the touch, but they quickly heat up to match your body temperature. Although the technology currently does not exist to maintain constant cooling, pillows like this are a good compromise for now. It's nice and soft and is a good value for the price.

Doesn’t stay cool long
Set name: UltraCool Pillow, Standard - Soft/Medium Firmness, Item length width: 30.0 Inches
The pillow was a little softer than I expected. It’s cool at first but at least for me heats up fast.
