When Francis Lung describes his new album as sounding "like a short Mancunian boy single-handedly trying to incite Beatlemania" he's really not too far wide of the mark. Released later this Summer, Lung's much-anticipated debut album 'A Dream Is U' is both bold and enthusiastic, a kaleidoscopic journey informed by the greats but also one that is wonderfully enigmatic, the sound of a multi-instrumentalist tying together all manner of influences into one beautifully cohesive album.Following on from the home-recorded Volumes 1 + 2 EPs, which contained titbits written during his time in Wu Lyf, 'A Dream Is U' is the first fully-realised Francis Lung record, a studio undertaking brought to life with producer Brendan Williams (Dutch Uncles, GoGo Penguin), a colourful patchwork of vision and ingenuity. "Before we started recording I knew exactly what the arrangements were in my head" Francis says, reflecting on the time spent devising his new work. "It was kind of my mission to capture everything as it was in my imagination".Touching upon the universal themes of addiction, faith, and love in all of it's confusion, 'A Dream Is U' is a collection of characters and stories that plays out something like a Harvey Pekar comic strip; an obsessive chronicle of daily lives twisted into new shapes by the unique mind and manners of their narrator. With flashes of striking colour and an ever-present wry smile, Francis Lung has created a debut album that drifts between simple acceptance and exuberant yearning for more. "My favourite part is when it talks about escaping to another universe," Francis says of one song in particular, Unnecessary Love. "Although it's a doomed and impossible dream, it's amusing to me that if we survive long enough it could be a real possibility."At times boisterous and radiant, elsewhere contemplative and brooding, 'A Dream Is U' feels like being awake in dreams, like stepping outside of the daily rotation; like shadows leaving their dancing bodies to waltz away to their own tune.1. Pricey for quality but my dogs love them!

This toy is a bit on the pricey side for what it is, and no matter how many times I try to tie it, I just cannot get it to stay secured. I really like the idea behind it, but the overall quality feels just okay rather than amazing. The ball itself is very lightweight and almost feels more like a dense foam than traditional rubber, which initially threw me off.
That said, it has actually been holding up well with regular use, which is a pleasant surprise. Most importantly, my puppies absolutely love these. The biggest win for me is that it comes as a two pack, which means I can play with both dogs at the same time without anyone feeling left out. At the end of the day, my girls are happy, and that makes me happy too.

Sturdy and soft like hiking on clouds

I am in love with these socks! In fact I've reordered five more times and have told my hiking friends about them, and they've ordered them now, too. We all love them. This is an excellent price for a 70% Merino wool sock. They wick away moisture & keep your feet nice and dry and comfortable in your boots. They're very cushiony yet your feet do not overheat. I bought these for the gym and for hiking. I actually hike about a hundred miles a month so I can tell you these socks go through a lot with me! The ankle cut socks are perfect for both my trail runners and my actual low ankle boots. The arch support keeps the sock firm on my foot and does not allow the sock to bunch up down towards the toe. The Merino wool helps to control moisture and my feet do not stink after a 6-7 mile hike. And oh my gosh they are so soft! It's like walking on clouds. I've had no issues with holes in the socks and will definitely update later if I do. I highly recommend these socks and tell your friends about them too

Best socks ever! Wool blend keeps my feet cushioned.

Anyone complaining about it not feeling like real wool didn't read the description, it says wool blend. They are the most comfiest socks I have ever purchased! They fit well they keep my feet warm . They don't sweat in hot weather. I almost forgot I had them on this evening. Best socks ever!!!!

Comfy & amazing!!!

Oh my goodness! I have never been obsessed with a pair of socks but, here we are. They are thick which I usually dislike but they don’t feel thick even with my chuck taylors on, I usually have either sweaty or cold feet they are neither in these. Love love love the colors so vibrant, haven’t washed any yet will update on how it wears. No toe fuzzies, color transfer to feet, they fit so well, barely a seam…dare I say these are my perfect socks! Wish the price was not so much, which honestly for what I’m getting isn’t that bad but I’m poor… GO GO WOOL!!! BAA

Large a tad small for 11 mens supercomfy and well made

These are quality socks, but for me the large are a bit small at size 11 shoesize. They are warm in any conditions, and warm days they can feel a bit stiffling, and I have probably sweatier than average feet, so without well ventilated shoes, my feet still get damp. They are so soft and cozy in cooler/cold weather. But again, it the heat, with some sweat, this makes them a bit "slippery" and my feet slide in my shoes on steep off-camber terrain. I would probably buy these again, except I have 6 pairs, and my wife buys me expensive branded socks I'd never purchase for myself.
