Rock god Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, QOTSA). It's one of those rare link-ups that truly transcends the sum of it's parts, with Not Waving's rolling range of nuanced electronics acting as backdrops for Lanegan's smoky baritone storytelling. Delivered in a husky but pliable voice that has come to define the American alternative rock scene since the early '90s, Lanegan inhabits the songs with a reserved presence that has served him well for decades, but which has never been heard in quite this context. Pairing music recorded by Alessio Natalizia between London, Italy, and Paris over the past five years, with vocals recorded by Lanegan in LA, the duo arrives at dreamy non-place that's not defined by geography or time. Instead the album offers a timeless insight into human behavior, as reflected in the sleeve art details from the "Lights Of Canopus", a Persian version of the ancient Indian book of animal fables, the "Panchatantra". Thanks to Lanegan's classically dusty tone - famously described as being "scratchy as a three-day beard yet as supple as moccasin leather" - and the breadth of Not Waving's production, the results draw listeners deep into the artists' shared plane of world-weary but quietly hopeful conception, emphasizing the power of closeness and empathy. Their songs come on like waves lapping a shore that's ever-shifting, ever the same. This cycle is epitomized on the opener, "Signifying The End" with Lanegan's raspy tone met by honeyed synths, before scaling the nocturnal heights of "City Of Sin" and coolly channeling Suicide in "Burn Out Babylon". The waters calm again for "Persimmon Tree" suitably set to harp-like arps, while the deathly croon and impending throb of "Murder In Fugue" comes to rest in the serene resolution of "The Broken Man" in a manner that's entirely modernist but speaks to eons of human emotion. Echoing everything from latter-days Scott Walker to David Sylvian at his most strung out, and even the odd energy of Moebius, Conny Plank & Mayo Thompson's Ludwig's Law album (1998), or the arcane creak of John Duncan's Bitter Earth (2016), Natalizia and Lanegan's efforts will realign listeners presumptions of both artists and place them in a category all of their own. My dogs loved it, but it doesn't hold up.
My dogs absolutely love this ball! The moment I took it out of the package, they were already trying to play with it.
The vibration is strong, and on hardwood floors it moves around fairly well. It keeps the dogs interested and does a good job of rolling around.
The blue outer ring is made of a mildly tacky, hard rubber. Within about 30 seconds of rolling around, it had already picked up pet hair and lint from the floor. That said, the rubber feels fairly durable. I have some heavy chewers, so I'll update my review later to let everyone know how well it holds up over time.
The charging process is a little unusual and somewhat concerning. To charge the ball, you have to remove it from the rubber shell, unscrew it, and pull out the motor assembly. While doing this, I got some kind of grease on my hand, so I would recommend being careful not to fully remove the motor when charging. It does use a USB-C charging port, and a small charging cable is included.
Overall, my dogs are having a great time with it so far. I'll update this review if anything changes or if the ball doesn't hold up long-term.
UPDATE: It is 2 days later, the rubber net around the ball has lost a lot of it's rigidity and no longer holds the inner ball in place. My dogs are able to easily remove the inner ball, which is hard and small enough for them to swallow. This toy has been taken away as much as they have loved it, as it's now a choking hazard. As a result, my rating has gone from 4 stars to 2.

Highly Entertaining Toy That Keeps Dogs Thrilled, But Smart Pups Can Disassemble It
This interactive ball is an absolute hit with my dogs, and watching them play with it has been incredibly entertaining. Right out of the box, the internal mechanism charged up very fast, so we were able to start a play session almost immediately. It blinks blue when charging and solid green when charged. The unpredictable moving and bouncing motions caught my dogs' attention right away, and they love chasing it around the room. My only critique is that it didn't take them very long to figure out how to pop the inner motorized ball completely out of the outer cage. Luckily, the materials are genuinely durable; even though they separated the pieces, they haven't destroyed or damaged either part yet. It's great fun to watch, but you'll definitely want to keep an eye on smart pups who figure out how to open it up.

Really cool cat toy for even the most picky cat!

I love it, wow. Our cat is picky with toys, but even he was intrigued by it. It really kept his attention, which is hard to do. It comes with three modes: fast, slow, and interactive. The only thing is that hair can get all trapped up in it because it's a wheel, so keep your house clean I guess lol. The tail also came off once, so you gotta snuggly get it on up there. Really cool cat toy though, I'm happy I got it lol

Not worth the money

My small Chihuahua loved this toy. It kept him entertained until it would stop working. He only gets about 10 minutes of play and it's no longer charged to use. I even bought a second one thinking the first one might have been just bad luck, but nope, the same problem. It seems most of these interactive toys are only given 2 to 3 stars. I'm disappointed but more importantly, my pup is even more.
