IceToolz is a brand that focuses on both the professional and the (better) do-it-yourselfer in the bicycle industry. But the ordinary cyclist also comes into the picture with handy maintenance products and easy-to-use items. IceToolz is a brand where you can find those things that make your hobby as a cyclist or mechanic or as a bicycle craftsman easier. Note the orange detail: choice of the craftsman.Determining the right moment when the chain really needs to be replaced is an important issue. Driving on for too long seems to be an inconvenience in terms of switching gears, but also leads to potentially dangerous situations. If the chain is too worn, the chance of pedaling through increases. Replacing it too early is a shame as the cassette must then also be replaced, a costly action. With this chain wear meter you can check for yourself when the chain really needs to be replaced. The chain wear gauge is based on three steps. Since the chain lengthens due to wear, there is more space in each link bush, the operation of this chain wear gauge is simple.
The chain wear gauge is hooked behind a link with the hook on the right-hand side. Preferably at the top of the chain. The tip on the left side of the chain wear gauge falls into the chain. And the further the tip of the chain wear gauge falls into the chain, the further the chain is worn. There are shown 3 examples on the chain wear gauge. In the leftmost example there is nothing to worry about, the chain wear gauge falls a small piece in the chain. The chain is (as good as) new. In the second example, shown on the chain wear gauge, the chain wear gauge falls further down the chain. The bottom of the tip of the chain wear gauge is almost under the chain. Nothing is happening right now, but it is important to keep an eye on this. If the chain wear gauge is visible on the underside of the chain, as shown in the rightmost example on the chain wear gauge, then chain replacement is a must. The chain wear gauge is suitable for all common derailleur chains, whether Shimano®, KMC®, Taya® or anotherIceToolz: the choice of professionals and do-it-yourselfers!

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
