The Hollyland Pyro 7 Wireless Transceiver Monitor Kit (Set of Two 7-Inch) is a professional, pre-paired production package designed to establish a complete, real-time wireless video pipeline right out of the box.

By bundling two matching Pyro 7 integrated touchscreen monitor/transceivers, this kit provides film crews, commercial production agencies, and live broadcast teams with a seamless, highly flexible monitoring setup. Because every Pyro 7 unit features an identical internal hardware chassis and RF motherboard, you no longer need to carry separate, dedicated transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) hardware boxes. A simple menu toggle transforms one unit into your camera-top transmitter and the other into a wireless handheld director’s monitor.

Core Advantages of the Dual-Monitor Configuration

  • Zero-Configuration Instant Sync: The two monitors in this kit come factory-synced to the same encryption and frequency channels. Once powered up, they automatically establish an encrypted, low-latency wireless link within seconds, eliminating the time spent manually pairing gear during a hectic morning call.

  • Bi-Directional Redundancy: Having two identical transceiver monitors gives production teams an immediate backup option on set. If the monitor acting as your camera transmitter takes physical damage or suffers a port failure, you can simply change the menu setting on the second unit to act as the transmitter, maintaining your shoot's schedule.

  • 1-to-4 Broadcast Scalability: The transmitter monitor in this kit isn't limited to feeding just its twin receiver. Utilizing Pyro's advanced Broadcast Mode, the transmitting monitor can simultaneously send its video and audio stream to the bundled receiving monitor plus up to three additional Pyro-series receiving nodes (such as Pyro S receivers or additional Pyro 7 monitors) spread across video village.

Core Tech & Imaging Capabilities

  • Auto-Dual-Band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) Pyro-Wave Tech: The system transmits across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands simultaneously. If the local environment experiences a sudden spike in 5 GHz Wi-Fi interference from a venue's network, the system dynamically switches or offsets packets to the 2.4 GHz band in real time, guaranteeing an ultra-stable link with an imperceptible 0.06s (60ms) latency at distances up to 1,300 feet (400 meters).

  • Daylight-Viewable 1200-Nit Touchscreen: Both 7-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS LCD displays feature 1200 nits of peak brightness. This allows directors, DPs, and focus pullers to confidently evaluate critical focus, exposure, and color fidelity outdoors under direct afternoon sunlight without requiring a bulky sun hood.

  • Cross-Signal SDI & HDMI Matrixing: Each monitor is equipped with independent HDMI Input/Loop-Out and 3G-SDI Input/Output ports. The system supports cross-signal conversion—meaning you can run an HDMI feed from a mirrorless camera into the transmitter unit, and output it as a clean SDI signal on the receiving monitor to feed professional broadcast switchers or production decks.

Smart Production Workflows with the Set of Two

  1. The Dynamic A-Cam & Director Package: Mount Monitor A directly onto your camera cage via SDI/HDMI to act as the operator's high-brightness monitor and transmitter. Mount Monitor B into a handheld director's cage fitted with side grips and an NP-F battery pack, giving the director an un-tethered, crisp view of the action anywhere on set.

  2. The Focus Puller & Video Village Split: Place the transmitter monitor on a tripod next to the camera assistant (AC) as a large-format pulled-focus display. Route the receiving monitor over to a client desk or script supervisor station to act as a standalone remote viewing monitor.

  3. On-Monitor MP4 Playback Scratches: Because both units feature built-in SD card slots capable of recording up to 40 minutes of live h.264 video, the script supervisor or director can hit "Record" directly on the receiving monitor. This allows instant playback of the last take for performance notes without demanding a camera cut or playback loop from the main operator.

On-Set Power Optimization Protocol: Both Pyro 7 monitors feature a Dual NP-F battery plate on the back of the chassis. The internal electronics support smart hot-swapping. When you receive a "Battery Low" alert on screen, you can slide off the drained battery and replace it with a fresh one while the monitor continues to operate uninterrupted off the secondary battery slot. This keeps your video transmission line completely live between takes, saving valuable setup time.

The Best for Athletics
Color: Black/Gray
This is a sleek, light wristwatch that will not weigh you down with its bulk. Forget the gigantic profile of a "survivalist" wristwatch. This unisex model is svelte and slim, not adding much to the wake you generate while swimming, or the swing of your arms while running, or the wind as it passes around your wrists and hands while you are speeding by on your racing bike. This is only 34mm across, by 35mm tall, by 11.5mm thick. The wristband is 13mm at its median working width. Timex styling cannot be beat, and neither is the resin-rubber-like material. I don't know about you, but the price is something I take a good look at. I want a watch that is reasonably priced and high-quality. I don't want to spend $200 to $1000 on a watch and worrying about being careful with it. If it gets smashed, it's only $30 to $50, not a big loss, and the quality is way better than what they were making in the 1980's. These watches are made for athletics and the real world.

Great watch, flimsy band
Color: Gray/Lilac
I bought this watch to replace a similar model because the band broke. I see this is a recurrent problem in many other reviews. However, I liked the watch enough to buy it again anyway. I found the new model easy to set, being fairly intuitive. So far it keeps perfect time. I use this watch mainly as a travel watch, and loved the dual time zone function. I am pleased that the newer model now has the ability to set 3 times zones instead of 2, which is an added bonus. The only con I see at this point is the flimsy strap. Unfortunately, the strap on this model is even thinner than on the previous one, and I wonder how long it will last. Also I wonder about the battery length. I think these watches may have been sitting around a long time. The setting showed 2012. I am afraid much of the battery life of the original battery may have already been used up and the battery may need replacing early. Only time will tell. The watch fits my small wrist fine and it is a little more attractive than the old model. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the band problem.

Fine for a man (with skinny wrists)
Color: Black/Gray, Color: Black/Gray
I have an older mens ironman which has gotten a little beat up and needs replacing. The band is much longer than I need. The metal clasp sits off-center on the underside of my wrist, closer to the part of my wrist which curves around to the front. The too-long strap sometimes flops around and catches on things. I couldn't find a smaller-band mens version, so I tried this "womens" watch (picking the most manly-looking one, of course). I like it better. The band fits my wrist much better, with the metal band in the middle and no flop. I also like that the watch is lighter and the face and band are smaller and less bulky, so it is less noticeable when I'm wearing it (cycling weight weenies will appreciate this). The face is still large enough to be easily legible and contains all of the same great features as my mens ironman watch, plus the newer versions now have an hourly chime, nice! Other info: my wrist is ~17.5cm or ~7.0" around. On this watch, I use the 6th out of 9 slots on the band. On my mens ironman, I use the 3rd out of 9 slots. Weight: this one = 28g, mens = 39g. Pics show comparison of my prior mens ironman with this new "womens" ironman. Photo order is confusing (couldn't figure out how to change that). They are: (1) side-by-side, mens on left, (2) mens band (wider and clasp is off-center on my wrist, end of band hangs over the edge of my wrist -- too long for me -- catches on things), (3) womens band (less wide, clasp is more centered on my wrist and end does hang over edge of my wrist), (3) womens watch (smaller, and looks new), and (5) mens watch, looking a little beat up.

Watch holds up in saltwater!
Color: Black/Gray
I bought this watch to use for my trip to the Galapagos Islands. I read two reviews that the watch does not hold up in salt water. I went snorkeling in the ocean 6 times, about 45 minutes each time. The watch did not leak. I did take precautions by keeping the watch under my rash guard and lowering myself slowly into the water. I also rinsed off my watch each time I snorkeled. I also bought this watch for the multi time zone feature by saving the time on the west coast, east coast and Galapagos time since I cannot change the time on my Fitbit until I land in an airport. I did not use any other features of the watch because I generally use my phone or Fitbit for an alarm or timer. The only complaint I have is that Timex now discourages changing the battery by the consumer. I changed the battery myself on my old Ironman watch. The new Ironman watch is fitted with triangular head screws. So I will have to purchase screwdrivers with triangular heads when it comes time to change the battery.
