A generous, rectangular platform holds 1.7 quarts of mixed seed, fruit, suet, or other avian treats, and a lapped roof fully covers this section to protect the seed from rain. Three vertical supports and arch accents affix to two sides of this platform, holding the roof and adding an architectural feel to the unit. The bottom of the tray easily attaches to the included, 45" tall stand, and a cross bar base with diagonal supports keeps the station stable. The cedar body is naturally resistant to insects and rot, and the open design of this piece enables several birds to dine at once. Holds up pretty well.

Holds up against my velociraptor! Much better than some of the other holey balls that get torn apart quickly. I think this is a great idea to reuse old shoe soles into toys for the heavy chewers like heelers. I would like to see a large ball like 10-12 inch diameter, so they can push and throw it around.
