"Laura Cortese and the Dance Cards create a stunning, forward-looking sound that charts a path for innovation in folk music." -PopMatters "...vocally superb... amazing talent with the fiddle" -Maverick "Like many of the best "folk" bands, this talented quartet is much more of an uncategorisable and dynamic force" -Americana UK "... their close and complex harmonies and imaginative arrangements signified the best of folk right now." -The Bluegrass Situation Expanding on the boundaries of what an indie-folk band can be, Laura Cortese & the Dance Cards take their extensive string music background, add their knowledge of folk and roots music, and incorporate an edgy pop sensibility to create their latest album, BITTER BETTER. A stunning lesson in all the ways string instruments can be played- bowed, plucked, percussively - the album showcases Cortese and multi-instrumentalist producer Sam Kassirer (Lula Wiles, Lake Street Dive) striving to capture the most adventurous approach to each moment. The result is an album that incorporates dance-worthy foundational grooves, synth, and loops to push the boundaries of the genre. The band has been invited to support The Mountain Goats on their extended US tour, which kicks off in late April.

Very easy to use
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
I have an Onkyo audio/video receiver along with an Emotiva amplifier. Both have speaker "post" terminals which will accept banana plugs, OR I can connect the speaker wires by unscrewing the posts, poke the speaker wires into the terminals and then tighten the posts. The problem with poking the wires into the terminals and tightening the posts vs using banana plugs is that there is a risk of the wires touching the metal on the back of the chassis or touching other speaker wires, causing a short if one is not careful. With banana plugs, they simply plug into the back/top of the posts, eliminating the rsick of a short circuit. They can also be unplugged very easily if needed. Banana plugs are DEFINITELY the preferred way to connect speakers to an receiver or amplifier if they have post-style terminals.
These particular banana plugs came in a package of 12 I believe. They were very reasonably priced, and simple to connect to the end of the speaker wires. Simply unscrew the banana plugs, use a small, standard jewelry screwdriver and loosen both of the set screws, insert the speaker wire, then tighten the set screws, and then screw the banana plug back together.
The plugs have either a red band which would typically be used for your "Right" speakers, or a black band which would typically be used for the "left" speakers. The banana plugs insert into the top or front of the speaker terminal posts on the amp and receiver. They fit VERY snug, and so I did have to apply just a little bit of pressure in order to insert them into the posts, but once plugged in, rest assured they're not going anywhere. They are snug.
I highly recommend these.

Thick wires
Size: 4/0AWG, Color: 10ft Black + 10ft Red
Heavy duty for my solar set up. These wires are thick. I've never used such thick wires for anything. Now I know why they're so expensive. There was some weight to these wire too. The diameter is larger than a dime. These are some serious wire.

Monster cable

Well I now know what 4/0 or 0000 cable is. Huge but very easy to handle or bend to shape.
