Made from stoneware clay with a clear crackle glaze giving them an characterful finish. The hand drawn illustrations are made using a 17th century Korean technique known as Mishima. The slip is wiped back revealing the illustration below which has been carved by hand in to the clay. We love how Nicky's managed to capture the character of each animal. A beautiful present

As these decorations are handmade they all vary slightly. The glaze is clear with very dark blue/black lines.
