Protect and Power Your Network with Confidence
The MikroTik GESP+POE-IN is an essential component for any professional network deployment, combining a passive Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector with robust surge protection in a single, compact unit. Designed for indoor use, this device safeguards your sensitive network equipment—such as switches and routers—from electrical surges, lightning strikes, and static discharge. By integrating power and protection, the GESP+POE-IN helps to minimize network downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure reliable operation, especially in installations with long Ethernet cable runs.
Comprehensive Surge Suppression
Don't let unexpected power surges compromise your network's integrity. The GESP+POE-IN is engineered to absorb transient currents and multiple impacts from electrical events, providing maximum security and peace of mind. For ultimate protection, it is recommended to use a GESP surge protector on both ends of long cables, such as an outdoor GESP unit near the antenna and the GESP+POE-IN injector indoors to protect the switches. Proper grounding is critical; the included grounding wire must be securely attached to a grounded structure like a mast or rack to effectively dissipate harmful electrical charges.
Seamless Gigabit PoE Integration
This device functions as a passive PoE injector, allowing you to deliver power to your network devices over the same Ethernet cable that carries data, simplifying your installation. It supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds, ensuring that your network's performance is never a bottleneck. The GESP+POE-IN is built to withstand harsh conditions with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C.
