Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals.One-Piece Housing: The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter, yet creates a heat-blocking seal when the vehicle's hood is closed. It utilizes the vehicle's OE air inlet with no additional hardware. An additional auxiliary air inlet is available for use to bring in air from the front of the vehicle when under power, or can be closed with an included plug if desired.Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube: This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable.Hassle-Free Installation: This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. Good Tool

This thing is great at opening bottles, and it has a Klein handle. Perfect for the electrician in your life, even if that's yourself. I had to knock off a star because the handle is not quite as good as other Klein tools. The plastic is not as clear. The TIP-IDENT bottlecap marking is off-center and not fully printed. The bottle opener sticks out at a slight angle. This does not affect the performance, but it does detract from the novelty somewhat.

expands work space effectively
Initially it was a bit challenging to set up as I was not fortunate enough to have assistance (the instructions tell you that you need two people for part of the installation process). I also had to play around with placement a bit as my available installation space was extremely limited and neither of the listed/'suggested mounting situations worked for me; however, with some head-scratching and debating with myself, I finally figured how to make it work how and where I needed it it, and all was good!! It functions well, and holds adequate weight, and looks really good with the light lacquer finish...the only thing I will say to a potential buyer is to make sure you have room to walk past it easily when its closed down because it still sticks out a few inches even when closed down...overall, very happy with this item and would purchase again.
