Taking equal cues from the Flying Nun school of arty guitar pop, classic British post-punk and otherwise Velvets-indebted rock, Chicagos Clearance mixes eras and styles with ease (you're likely to hear as much Parquet Courts as the Soft Boys, for instance) and the result is a focused but coolly off-the-cuff sound that appeals to both the record-collector/fanzine set and casual rock fans alike. After a string of self-released 7"s and tapes began circulating in 2013, the band released it's debut LP Rapid Rewards via Tall Pat Records and Unsatisfied Records, earning praise and topping many best-of lists upon it's 2015 release. Happy w/ quality of second purchase
I recieved a beautiful copy of Ethan Smith's 2nd Edition (1825) of View of the Hebrews. This edition includes the fascinating Quetzalcoatl... aka "Christ in America" content that I was looking to study.
***E. Smith's belief that biblical prophesy and cultural "evidences" prove that the Native American tribes found by the Europeans (Gentiles) were descended from the lost Tribes of Isreal. This narrative is later expounded on in the 1830 Book of Mormon***
I re-ordered this book in paperback version. This softcover version was not a photocopy of the original book as was the case when I ordered the hardcover version some time ago. Fantastic readable quality this time around!
Original Hardcover Review:
Poor photocopied pages. I opened the nice hard cover... I can read the words- but the book's pages are messy in a gross, unthoughtful way. The publisher didn't care about quality of pages at all- Quality ended once I opened the pleasant hardcover binding.

Very interesting reading.
Very interesting reading. He gives a very different picture (and more accurate picture, I'm sure) of the Indians in North and South Americas than what we've been told in our history books. They could very well be the lost tribes of Israel.
