Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of this album from the Turkish singer/songwriter. There were female Turkish Folk singers before Selda Bagcan, but none whose hot-blooded voice carried such righteously angry words and none who also accompanied themselves on guitar. She began her career singing at her brothers' Beethoven nightclub in Ankara while she went to school for physics during the day. Her first album had help from the cream of the crazy Istanbul pop scene, and cuts from the same sessions were also released on this second one. While the direction is folky overall, there's fuzz, zooming synthesizers, and heavy flute to be found When Selda performed the title track in 1977 in a coastal town not far from Istanbul, her protest lyrics, though taken from an old poem, got her heckled by audience members who screamed that she should go back to Moscow! Find out why this brawny mama couldn't be stopped by a military government that put her on trial nine times, and could call herself the bitter voice of the Turkish people.

Fits in purse without a lot of bulk
I ordered this to use as a travel cross-stitch case on the recommendation of someone else. Surprise, surprise - It doesn’t work as a travel cross-stitch case! (I either shouldn’t have listened or I got the wrong kind).
However, I do have a iPad and it ended up working great for that so I didn’t return it. Padding is good; everything fits; easy to use with a nice handle; the zipper is smooth; color is neutral; doesn’t add a lot of bulk so it’s easy to fit in my bag; provides extra protection although I don’t really need that; seams and stitching are holding up well to everyday use and it wipes clean.
While it doesn’t work for my sewing while traveling, it does work everyday for “work”. So, don’t get this for sewing, but for your iPad (the actual intended purpose!!); for that purpose it works well. My mistake ended up being a plus and the price was good.

Perfect for my iPAD, cash, phone, & more

I searched Amazon a few different times trying to find exactly what I was looking for. We're traveling out of country and I needed a couple of very specific things in a bag for my iPad. It has the padded space for the iPAD, then beside it is an equally sized space for whatever - money bag, etc....for me. T here's a front zipper pocket with a smaller pocket included holders for 2 pens. My time and energy paid off by purchasing this bag. The iPAD slides in lengthwise making it easily accessible along with the cash bag I'll be accessing frequently. Its qualit y, it looks very nice and its lightweight. I'm a happy camper. I recommend getting this bag. Oh, I will also carry my cell phone in the bag too.
