Janet Brooke is a printmaker based in Brighton. She prints all her small edition screenprints and linocut prints by hand in her studio. Her pieces are inspired by her local surroundings, which were initially the urban landscapes of London and more recently some of the more quirky aspects of her current home city of Brighton. Her most recent pieces are the results of daily walks along the undercliff path, contemplations of the ever changing nature of the sea and its relation to the equally changing skies but with the added human elements of traditional seaside architecture, including that newest addition to the landscape: the wind turbines hovering mysteriously on the horizon.

I needed a soap holder for my kitchen sink and I was looking for something modern and small. The Shinowa Soap Dispenser with Sponge seemed good. It's small but holds a lot of soap. The black color is nice. The pump dispenses soap well. It has a compartment for a sponge, as well, though I never used it. The bottom has rubber feet to stop it from sliding o — bigger or more grippy pads would make it more stable, though not everyone would have that much space on their sink. The pump works well and doesn’t need a lot of pressure. The wide opening makes it easy to fill and clean. One thing I didn't like personally — the holder doesn’t have a way to drain water. Sometimes I need to take out the water that collects in it. But it’s not a big problem. Overall, the Shinowa Dish Soap Dispenser is good. It keeps my kitchen tidy and makes it easier to use. It’s a good product that I would recommend to others.
