Return To Sky is a condensed piece of acutely experimental yet immensely engaging instrumental rock. Each of the album's five epics unfolds as a microcosm of the band's genre-transcending psychedelia at large, yet adds something different to the whole. There's a kind of musical metamorphosis taking place that's deeply ingrained in the band's natural flux by now; heavy, detuned riffs are transformed into wide, pastoral soundscapes, and fluid minimalism warped into swirling crescendos and back again. Occasionally the band even manages to sound turbulent - fuzzed-out yet strangely peaceful at the very same time. While so much of today's psychedelic scene comes off as merely a tribute to a certain period of the past, Causa Sui seem to be on a different mission. More than any other album in their catalog Return To Sky declares their roots in the avant-rock of the late 1990s, when different eras and genres merged into something that resonated as with the present as much as it celebrated the past.

Short Review:
It’s affordable and dark-skin friendly! A rich moisturizing lotion texture, lightly fragranced, with no white cast. If you have oily skin, you don't even need to moisturize beforehand, just skip straight to this sunscreen after cleansing. (Probably wouldn't be the same for people with dry skin). It’s at first tacky but it dries down to a smooth finish. Though this does have a shine to it that leaves your skin with a healthy dewy glow, if you have super oily skin like me, do follow up with a powder. If not after a couple of hours you’ll go from glowy to a grease soaked donut.
The Story:
I was shocked that the bottle was tiny/the size of my hand (funny when I’ve been through this shock at least a hundred times when trying sunscreens from Korean and Japanese brands) but rest assured, it does do its job (at least for me) and is affordable.
I’ve struggled with finding a decent sunscreen for a good year now. I’ve tried Neutrogena Clear Face (baaad breakout), Biore Aqua Rich (breakout), Nieva UV Super Water Gel (breakout), Frudiva (okay no breakouts but heavily scented, thick lotion, and left me super shiny), Hada Labo (beautiful lightweight texture but made me break out)—basically the struggle was real. Until I landed on Australian Gold tinted sunscreen. That stuff is magic, keeps me matte, and makes my skin look better but the darkest shade has a gray undertone so I have to follow it up with bronzer.
This sunscreen is perfect for when I don’t want to deal with the hassle of wearing my tinted sunscreen, am going out to run a quick errand, or when I’m staying indoors the entire day. The pump is super useful, especially if you do the two finger method application method. It comes out a yellowish color but once you rub it in, it easily disappears into the skin. At first, it feels tacky, almost as if you’ve applied a serum, but within 1-3 minutes it dries down to a smooth finish. It does leave a shine but nothing that a sebum or setting powder can’t handle for 4-5 hours. The big pointer is that so far no breakouts but I’ve been using this only for two days so I’ll update this if I see any changes in my skin.
I’m super glad I found this affordable option! I was looking at Elta MD (heard it piles, especially with makeup so I held back) and La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light but luckily I decided to peak at the more affordable spectrum of sunscreen. As of now, this sunscreen is a keeper. Let’s see how it stands after a week!

I absolutely love this sunscreen! It’s lightweight, not greasy, and blends perfectly into my skin without leaving any white cast. It keeps my skin protected and glowing all day, even in the hot sun. I’ve noticed my face feels softer and more hydrated since I started using it. Definitely one of my must-haves I’ll keep buying this one for sure!
