CH23 fue una de las primeras sillas que Hans J. Wegner diseñó en exclusiva para Carl Hansen & Søn en 1950.

Las piezas que creó entonces no sólo eran únicas, sino que también establecieron nuevos estándares para el diseño de muebles modernos con su expresión artística y su forma ergonómica.

Aunque la silla CH23 pueda parecer sencilla a primera vista, incorpora muchos detalles finos y sofisticados, como un asiento de doble cordón y patas traseras arqueadas que garantizan una estabilidad óptima.

Carl Hansen & Søn reintrodujo la CH23 en 2017, convirtiendo de nuevo las primeras obras maestras en parte de su colección. 

Como siempre, el diseño se mantiene fiel a los bocetos originales dibujados a mano por Wegner, con todos los componentes estéticos y estructurales intactos.

Puede encontrar CH23 en madera de roble y nogal aceitada y jabón con cuerda natural y negra.
