For more than two centuries, relegated by music history textbooks to the figure of a simple luthier and inventor of a mysterious instrument he called the harmonicello, Johann Carl Bischoff today, thanks to this first-ever recording, recovers a more complete and captivating profile as a composer and virtuoso cellist, capable of creating in this unique work of six sonatas an exceptional cameo, rooted in the finest classical tradition but above all capable of anticipating the sublime adventure of German Romantic music.

Lowered for more than two centuries from the textbooks of the history of music to the figure of a simple luthier and inventor of a mysterious instrument called harmonicello, Johann Carl Bischoff recovers today, thanks to this absolute first recording, a more complete and captivating physiognomy of a composer and a virtuoso cellist, capable of creating an exceptional cameo in this unique work of six sonatas, rooted in the best classical tradition, but above all able to anticipate the sublime adventure of German Romantic music.

Pretty funny
Format: Hardcover
The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.

Not the best, but not the worst either
Format: Hardcover
By any means not the funniest book in the series, only the one on Krusty the Clown was more un-funny; but still a worthy addition to your collection and, just like all the others from the series providing a retrospective of anecdotes you might have forgotten.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.
