The Aerpro FP9129CT Head Unit Install Kit allows for the installation of an aftermarket double din AV head unit into Ford Everest UA (2015-2017) and Ranger PX2-PX3 (2015-2021) vehicles with an 8" display SYNC3 system. The black facia kit fits seamlessly into the dash of the vehicle and the included interface retains steering wheel controls, climate control functionality and display, park pilot functionality, as well as the original vehicle camera (if equipped). The kit comes supplied with a black double din facia kit, mounting brackets, infodaptor interface, vehicle specific harness, USB/AUX/HDMI input panel mount, antenna adaptor and universal SWC patch lead. To simplify the installation process we recommend using Aerpro APP8 aftermarket head unit harness (sold separately).

  • Enables configuration of select vehicle settings including: ambient lighting, time/date, enhanced park pilot, climate control overlap timeout, climate control screen timeout, camera delay, reverse priority and time format
  • Fully customisable interface allows the screen position/size, brightness and contrast to be set

  • For steering wheel control retention the aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible.
  • To use the included USB/AUX/HDMI input panel mount the aftermarket head unit requires USB, AUX (RCA) and HDMI rear inputs. The panel is designed as an exact replica for select Ford vehicles. For vehicles which don’t feature a passenger airbag button aperture, this will need to be placed within the glovebox.
  • Aftermarket head unit requires a reverse camera input and display for this kit to function correctly.
  • Use of eject button gives access to the configuration menu.
  • Rear climate control in Ford Everest will not be retained.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
