The Seiko SBSC013 is a highly anticipated addition to the Seiko 5 Sports "Field" series, marking a significant milestone as the first Field-style GMT in the lineup. Often referred to by enthusiasts as the "Field GMT Black," this JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) model combines the rugged, utilitarian aesthetic of a classic military watch with the functional complexity of a multi-time zone tracker. It features a perfectly proportioned 39.4mm Stainless Steel Case with a brushed finish, offering a compact and versatile "tool watch" presence that fits comfortably under a sleeve or out in the field. The dial is a masterclass in legibility, featuring a Matte Black Finish with bold Arabic numerals and a dedicated 24-hour inner scale. A high-visibility Orange GMT Hand provides a sharp pop of color, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone against the fixed 24-hour radial-brushed bezel. As a JDM model, it features superior attention to detail and a clean layout without a date magnifier, maintaining the symmetrical "Field" look. The face is protected by a Curved Hardlex Crystal, designed to reduce reflections and withstand the rigors of daily use. At its core, the SBSC013 is powered by the in-house Seiko Caliber 4R34 Automatic Movement. Best karaoke speaker!

I was looking to buy a karaoke speaker and all were underpowered or overpriced. This went on sale ~100 and for that price it is THE perfect karaoke speaker. It has dual mic inputs for duets, (4) voice effects, voice echo. Each mic had it's own volume adjustment, there's also adjustment for echo, bass and treble. These are all knobs which i like a lot. The volume is push button which i don't like and would have preferred a knob also . Still, it's a lot of fun for karaoke! What I Iike a lot is the line out. Why? If I feel it needs more power, I can connect to any other speaker with a 3.5mm input. To me this is better than TWS systems that only pair with the same model(s). Speaking of power, it is ok for the size and price. It will sound good indoors at your home or backyard. It may not be the best for a larger hall. But it does have that line-out jack that will let you connect to (almost) any other speaker you want. What I have found lacking so far is the battery life. Fully charged, it was used over BT connection for music at ~50% volume for maybe 1.5 hours with lights and for podcasts at ~15% volume, no lights for 6 .5 hours before it died. So the 14 hour claim must be an exaggeration or only under very specific conditions. Also, bass is adequate, but it's not a 'booming' bass but you can tell it's there. Overall volume is good but will also depend on the device connected.

Turn me up turbo

I bought this for my performances assuming well of the brand (I’m a musician). My biggest complaint is that I wish it were louder. There have been performances where they’ve asked me to turn the volume up and surely enough it’s already at its loudest volume 🥴. The battery life is pretty good, it’s never died on me and I’ve had 4hr gigs before. The light is also a nice touch (and can turn on and off per your request of hitting a button). It makes a sound when you turn it on and off which can also be muted if you can catch it in time. Pretty easy for me to carry from place to place. Im not sure I’d recommend it to a musician but depending on what it is you need it for- it’s truly not bad. For the price it’s pretty average and until I can invest in a louder option, it gets the job done pretty okay.
