The Colorful World Of Arp Frique is the exotic and super funky debut album of Niels Nieuborg, aka Arp Frique. The debut follows his very well-received debut release on Rush Hour (RHSTORE JAMS11, 2018). Pulsating New York City style live disco vibes, interwoven with both Caribbean and Cape Verdean sounds, are themes throughout the record with danceability always guaranteed and a healthy finishing touch of weirdness present across most tracks. First single "Nos Magia" was shortlisted for Track of the Year 2017 at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards and has been given airplay by BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, and NTS whilst club DJs Antal and Hunee have all supported the track in their sets. The Arp Frique alter ego is a reference of course to two things Nieuborg clearly appreciates in music: firstly, the sound of the Arp synths and secondly, by referring to Chic's "Le Freak" - he is also showing love to the genre of disco. Be sure to know however, that you are not listening to edits of seventies jams. Arp Frique's music may sound vintage and authentic at times but all tunes are original and made with live instruments. Mind you though, that all compositions are the product of the "insatiable creative urge" of just one man. As part of a wholly different career, Nieuborg once owned a venue and programmed various venues and festivals, like his latest success, Festival Magia. With that knowledge in the back of your mind, the impressive cast on the album - which follows on 2017's Nos Magia EP - seems logical. Nevertheless, the status level of the contributors is astonishing. There's a Cape Verdean funana song featuring legend Americo Brito on vocals, an infectious Brazilian disco funk hit-to-be with Ed Motta, two tracks with Surinam's famous Ronald Snijders on flute, three collaborations with Afro-beat don Orlando Julius and so much more. Also features Humphrey Campbell.

Not forced or rushed

I really liked this book. Hannah & Garrett’s story starts off like a typical smart girl tutors the jock to help him get though a class in college. But their stories are traumatic and the things that they have both had to overcome make this book so much more than your typical tutor/jock story. Garrett is sweet, cocky, funny and helps bring Hannah out of her shell in a refreshing way. Hannah is not meek or mild or quiet, she is strong because of her past but still a little unsure. Together their chemistry is hot and their relationship just sort of naturally unfolds. I really loved that it didn’t seem forced or rushed, it just happened as it should. Garrett’s story in particular hit very close for me so maybe that is why I felt connected to these characters so much. I am really looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Great Kitchen Purchase

I didn’t realize how much I needed a kitchen scale until I got this. It’s really accurate and makes cooking (especially baking) so much easier and more consistent.
The tare function is a game changer—you can zero out the bowl and keep adding ingredients without extra measuring cups. It’s also easy to switch between grams and ounces, which is great for following different recipes. Most digital scales measure very precisely, often down to about 1 gram, which makes a big difference for accuracy.
It’s compact, easy to clean, and doesn’t take up much space on the counter. Overall, such a simple tool but makes a big difference—definitely worth having in any kitchen.

Food scale

This product is worth the price. The only thing is that it kind of doesn’t work sometimes when you are trying to switch the unit and you might have to double click (as shown in my video) other than that the product works perfect for measuring my food and even my liquids. It’s the perfect size not too big and bulky but it also isn’t that small. As you can see in my picture it’s small enough to fit in my drawer (I don’t like to leave it on my counter) it’s a tiny bit bigger than an Alexa.i also like that the price isn’t to high . I would definitely recommend this product! It’s a sturdy product it doesn’t move when you’re putting any items on it. It’s easy to clean off as well. Another thing is it takes batteries ( it takes AAA batteries, just 2 of them) and I liked how it came with batteries inside of them already .
