They are able to withstand the the pulling force of 150lbs
Quik-Latch Mini's can be used as fasteners on body panels, hoods, deck lids, air cleaners and many other purposes and are designed to create a strong connection with a finished look.
The 1" Mini Latches features a smaller 25.4mm upper diameter vs. the regular Mini Latches which are 1.25" (31.75mm) in upper diameter, about the size of a quarter, so they are very compact and neat looking. They are able to withstand the the pulling force of 150lbs before failure and have been approved by the NHRA for use in racing applications. With just a push of a button, the Quick-Latch Mini is unlatched. The button stays in the down position until re-latched, and then the button pops back up. No more tools that scratch or get misplaced.
Quik-Latch latches are made of T-6 aluminum and stainless steel, which resists corrosion. They can also be painted or powder coated if a customer so desires to do so. They are manufactured to the highest of standards in the United States!
