WOM Rectagongs are handmade with care and passion using procedures that combine traditional methods, personal choices, and innovative intuitions, in order to generate unique sonic tools.
The name WOM is both a sound and a symbol. It is the sound of the Spanda Mantra "Wuom" used in the practice of Hara Yoga, representing the universal vibration, the origin of all sound and reality.
Handmade using a mixture of stainless steel and nickel silver, these "Rectagongs" offer a sound placed between that of the gong and the bell, offering stable and linear frequencies like a bell, but with the tendency to open and resonate high frequencies, typical of a gong. These small rectangular gongs are extraordinary for the long duration of their crystalline and well defined tones.
Lightweight and easy to play on the go, each Rectagong lends itself well to individual sound therapy sessions, as well as integrating perfectly into larger sets of instruments. Add one to your sound healing toolkit today.
