A whole album of previously-unreleased soul and funk gems from Master Plan Inc., recorded 1973-1984. a band from Chicago led by Fred Shorts. With just one single to their name - an uber-rarity rated at over $2,000 - nobody had any idea that within the confines of a studio archive and Shorts' private residence there would be a wealth of other recordings on acetate, reel-to-reel tape and cassette. Despite Jazzman's 24/7 commitment to search for such material, such a find is very rare indeed, coming up only once every few years. Yet what marks this as so special is that only when these soulful treasures had been fully excavated did it come to light that the quality of the music would make for a complete album of astonishingly high quality - most albums have one or two gems padded out with filler, but here we have the real deal - gem after gem after gem. And all previously-unreleased! If you're into modern soul, '70s funk, smooth mid-tempo crossover dancers or high-energy funk blasts, you're in for a treat. CD comes with a 16-page booklet with liner notes and previously-unpublished photographs.

Child loves it
Format: Board book
The 3 year old that got this gift slept with the book and the train. Per the parents "he had it in a death grip." This is so wonderful for fine motor skills. Also, the child can learn that it works better on a flat surface vs on an incline. It is being played with constantly. Will go back and look for others in the series.

Great product

This book is so fun. My 2 & 4 year old love to play with it. The pages come out & connect like a puzzle which makes one huge track for the train to drive on. The only complaint is the book is already starting to rip after having it for less then a week.

Fantastic toy

Such a perfect book for little train lovers. I don’t see any issues with it. My 3 year old son loves to read it every night. The train doesn’t really come off the track, but if I’m holding the book on my lap, I’ll move the book around to help it slide along. It’s bigger than I expected from the pictures, but that was definitely a good thing. So happy with this purchase.

GREAT gift for my 4 year old who loves trains. He got a lot of gifts for Christmas but this one is probably his favorite. It is also easy to take with you if you travel. Fun, entertaining and educational with facts about famous trains. Definitely recommend it!
