With MEL014, Melodies International is extremely proud to bring you one more You're A Melody classic and one of the most beautiful soul records we'll have reissued as of yet: Jack Jacobs - I Believe It's Alright. Jack Jacobs grew up in Philadelphia and started out his singing career with an acapella doo-wop singing group before becoming lead singer in some Philly R&B bands. After a while he decided to take up the keyboard so he got a full sized Hammond B-3 organ, which he used to lug back and forth to gigs from his 3rd floor apartment. Jack is remembered by friends and family as an incredibly talented musician and one of the most soulful vocalists they've ever known. Childhood friend and jazz guitar great Pat Martino recalls: "I've had a chance to work with some seriously heavy duty singers, such as Ray Charles. He (i.e. Jack) was so spontaneously prolific; he was a poet. I can play some things for you right now and you would be shocked to find out he had no idea what he was about to sing. The lyrics were absolutely phenomenal, and they were extremely spiritual in context in terms of the message he was talking about. They were Biblical lyrics; absolutely overwhelming - just incredible". After Jack moved to Atlantic City in the 1970s, he wrote and recorded "I Believe It's Alright", initially released on Libra, a small local New Jersey music label. The record barely got any exposure at the time despite how good it was. It channels honest, raw soul energy in it's purest form - a truly uplifting song! Fully licensed and remastered, MEL014 is presented in it's original promo 7" vinyl format with the extended version on the flip and digitally - accompanied by a 16 page Melozine produced by Mafalda Meireles and Julia Rodionova

Great privacy screen

I have a studio apartment and the bathroom is in my bedroom. I bought this to section the area off so guests can use my bathroom without seeing my entire bedroom. This is perfect for that! It looks very nice and offers alot of privacy. The screen is fabric and good quality! I’m a middle aged woman and put it together myself in about 2 hours. Love this!!!

Nice divider 6 panel with wheels.

The wall works great , and I put it together by myself. I only gave it what I did because I have to move one or two of the panels on one end around a bit daily to make an opening to pass through. I find I have to check the screws that hold those legs/feet on frequently and retighten them. Beyond that everything was pretty good quality. (I ended up magnetizing an Allen wrench to one of the feet.) I also put on motion lights to the rollers so you’ll see them and don’t trip.

Room divider

I was looking for something to separate my two boys and give them both their own space. So far this room divider has worked well. It’s 6 feet tall and the fabric is dark and thick. You won’t see anything on the other side. Good quality and easy to assemble ✅

Didn’t realize there were over 100 pieces to put this thing together. Had I been advised of that I would not have ordered this thing. Wayyyyy too much of a production to put it together. Nope. Returned.

Great Product, But Non-Existent Seller Support

The Good:
Well Designed: Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
Effective: Perfectly obstructs the afternoon sun glare from my monitor screens.
Moderate Assembly: Straightforward and easy for the most part.
The Bad:
Defective Part: One crossbar end was missing threads, preventing the assembly of the sixth panel.
Zero Communication: I emailed the seller as instructed and waited 8 days with no acknowledgment.
Return Logistics: Amazon offered a return, but the box is heavy, and disassembly/repackaging would be a major task.
Final Verdict
I really like this product, but I’m deducting two stars for a total lack of customer service. I’ve decided to buy tools and fix it myself rather than deal with a heavy return. I hope the seller sees this and reaches out. The lesson learned is to check every part of a product before assembly.
