d.Mistify Mirrors

For use in dental practices and for use by patients at home. 

The d.MISTIFY PRO Data Capture Kit features the Air and Light Dispersal (ALD) unit, which consists of a digital light array, in combination with a fan and series of intraoral mirrors. This sophisticated device ensures that the surface of the intraoral mirrors (when attached) remains crystal clear and free of fog, due to the powerful light source and continual 2 speed turbo airstream.

This results in easy-to-capture high-definition images and videos on either the in-practice or the patients’ own mobile phone/digital camera.

Any of the 5 d.MISTIFY intraoral mirrors provided can be attached to the ALD Unit, and in addition, the d.Mistify ALD Nozzle can be connected to the ALD unit to provide an airstream that is powerful enough to clear saliva and debris from any targeted area.

The d.Mistify PRO DCK is housed in a hygienic, high-quality carrying case for storage in a dental practice or in the home setting.

This can opener is an easy, hands free tool, to use. It does open canned items efficiently, but slower than hand-turn openers, which saves a painful wrist motion from which I suffer. Unlike a traditional opener, this one cuts under the can edge which requires caution when removing the lid as exposed cut edges are very sharp. Also, the opener does not stop when it has completed its circuit. The start button has to be pressed to stop action.

Opener leaves wire threads on the rim of the can when opening. Poses a danger if ingested.

Purchased this item hoping it would make opening cans easier (I have osteoarthritis in my hands). First time I tried it, after it rounded the lid of a can of DelMonte green beans, nothing. I reseated it, and held it down when it started. It opened the can after circling the top two times. When I took the lid off the can, there were tiny wire "threads" stuck on the can, and more stuck on the Kitchen Mama opener. I was able to very carefully wipe the wire threads off and pour the can of beans into my pan. HOWEVER, I will not use this product again. Who wants to run the risk of ingesting wire threads?!!! I would return the product for a refund, but my husband destroyed the box opening it, so this will go into the garbage. I wouldn't sell at a garage sale or donate it, because someone else might ingest the wire threads, and then Kitchen Mama would have a lawsuit on their hands I wouldn't have given ANY stars, but you have to give at least one to write a review.

They followed up, honored the warranty, and sent me a replacement even though I couldn’t provide photos at the time. When you turn it off it takes FOREVER to wind down. The first few times I tried yanking it off because I thought it was stuck. And then it fully died in under a year. But honestly maybe what bothers me the most of all is when I contacted customer support about the warranty replacement, I got an email back asking for photographic proof that my BATTERIES WERE IN CORRECTLY. Really? (A photo that I could not provide because it had broken days earlier and I threw it in the trash, who hoards broken appliances?). I really expected better from a ‘reputable’ brand.
