Limited run un-assembled resin model kit for well experienced modelers. SSB cautions on box that should be assembled by experienced modeler over 20 years of age.
From SSB: this kit is not manufactured using machines, this kit is made of hand-built parts tooled and poured by SSB Resins who has been making resin models for over 40 years.
A phone number and email are given for SSB Resins in case of missing or damaged parts. He will work with the customer directly to take care of any issues that might arise or answer questions while building. Note on box: please be advised that this product contains poly-urethane resin, it might take up to 10 weeks for the gassing out period. CA Cyanoacrylate glue is recommended for assembly.
Also on box: "we do not offer any returns or refunds on this kit, this is a hand-crafted custom model which will demand well over 200 hours to complete, please be aware"
This model has over 325 parts and all must be primed and painted.

SSB resins has other lightbars and mirrors available depending on what year you would like to replicate. Microscale decals for Los Angeles County Fire are included. Driver figures in picture are also not included but can be purchases through SSB resins directly.
Pictures are of the prototype model that SSB has been working on for over 3 years. The chassis on production kits is stronger and is slightly arched in order to accommodate the weight of cab and rig. Display model pictured also has the cab and rig and pumper assembly un-glued from the chassis. This was for transport to our shop for display.
Again, this is a high skill level kit. We highly recommend purchase if you have built one of SSB Resin Fire Truck kits in the past. This is not a easy model to finish.
