The removable base kit simply mounts to your desired mounting surface and is pre drilled and tapped so that the surface mount APXG3DMV2 (white) or APXG3DMV2BLK (black) can mount directly on top.

The optional removable base kit (APXG3DMRBV2) can be used to easily remove the Starlink Standard Gen3 antenna when needed. These are black anodized 3/8" thick aluminum strips. The removable base kit simply mounts to your desired mounting surface and is pre-drilled and tapped so that the surface mount APXG3DMV2 (white) or APXG3DMV2BLK (black) can mount directly on top. The removable base kit is a great option if you plan to use the Starlink Standard Gen3 in more than one location.
