Elan Ripstick 102 Skis 2027
The Elan Ripstick 102 is an all-mountain freeride ski built to handle everything from soft snow and storm days to chopped-up resort laps, delivering a versatile blend of float, stability, and confident edge control.
Why It Stands Out
- True One-Ski-Quiver Width: At 102 mm underfoot, the Ripstick 102 gives you enough platform for powder and mixed snow while still feeling composed and responsive when conditions get firmer.
- Light Yet Powerful Construction: CarbonDeck Technology, Carbon Rods, UD Carbon, Flax Fibre, and Tubelite Woodcore combine to create a ski that feels energetic, stable, and easy to maneuver without excess weight.
- Amphibio Profile: Elan’s Amphibio Profile helps blend intuitive turn initiation with dependable edge grip, making the ski feel smooth and confident across varied terrain.
Ideal For
The Ripstick 102 is ideal for intermediate, advanced, and expert skiers who want a freeride-oriented all-mountain ski that can handle powder mornings, mixed afternoon snow, and everyday resort exploration. It is especially well suited to skiers looking for a wider platform that still feels lively and manageable.
Technical Specs
- Construction: CarbonDeck Technology, Carbon Rods, UD Carbon, Flax Fibre, Tubelite Woodcore.
- Profile & Sidewall: Amphibio Profile with SST (Slanted Sidewall Technology).
- Base & Geometry: Sintered High Speed Gliding base with 138-102-118 mm geometry.
How It Compares
Compared with the Ripstick 96, the Ripstick 102 offers more surface area and better soft-snow support for skiers who want a more powder-friendly daily driver. Compared with the 108, it remains quicker edge to edge and more versatile for skiers spending significant time on mixed resort snow.
Bottom Line: The Elan Ripstick 102 is a versatile all-mountain freeride ski for skiers who want soft-snow capability, strong stability, and an energetic feel in a platform wide enough for real off-piste use.
Choose your length and build a setup that is ready for powder days, chopped-up terrain, and everything in between.
