to install, safe and extremely robust.
Quick and easy to install:
The Wichard mast step is specially designed to be easy to install. For mast profiles with a radius greater
than 270mm, the rivet placement provides direct support against the side of the mast without having
to modify the base. This makes installation both quicker and easier.
Safety:
The Wichard mast step locks shut, ensuring that it will stay out of the way until you need it.
The notched surface and end-piece give you a strong, stable support for your feet and reduce the risk
of slipping.
Lastly, the step is designed to avoid catching on clothes and sheets.
Both strong and lightweight:
The materials used (PA 12) provide great resistance (safe workiing load 140kg) and UV resistance. Unlike stainless steel steps, the Wichard step will not corrode and
it is much lighter (especially practical when used further up the mast). Finally, the angle of the step
prevents any premature distortion over time.
Comfort:
Once folded back, the mast step does not generate any noise or vibration during navigation
to install, safe and extremely robust.
