The nCamp Food Prep Knife is a high-quality knife that elevates your outdoor cooking experience. It is designed for those who might venture into the backcountry, as well as for everyday use; whether it's barbeque in the backyard or park, picnics, or even daily use in the kitchen (at home or a cabin).
The Santoku is based on a classic Japanese utility knife. The scalloped blade helps keep slices from sticking to the blade, and the broad surface is ideal for scooping and moving ingredients. The Damascus Blade is made with 10Cr15MoV steel, which balances beauty, corrosion resistance, and toughness, while maintaining a very sharp edge. It includes our signature cut-outs, which reduce weight at the widest part of the blade without impacting performance or comfort when applying pressure to the spine. These cut-outs also provide a bit of an edge, allowing you to flick the blade open with your thumb.
This knife features a dark-colored walnut handle that is both tough and beautiful. The handle shape is designed for a comfortable and secure grip, accommodating a variety of gripping styles. It is scalloped at the balance point, allowing for a gradual transition between the handle and blade. The fasteners are flush-mounted, eliminating any annoying bumps, and holes are minimized to prevent crud collection. The top of the handle is closed to ensure comfort and rigidity. The handle/blade relationship provides full use of the blade edge and ample clearance to prevent knuckles from hitting the cutting surface. The frame includes a liner-lock, securing the blade when it is opened.
The Elite Edition Knives come with a custom leather case featuring a belt loop. Designed in the USA.
