"I am often amazed at how much more capability and enthusiasm for science there is among elementary school youngsters than among college students. . . . We must understand and circumvent this dangerous discouragement. No one can predict where the future leaders of science will come from."--Carl Sagan In 2012, the White House put out a call to increase the number of STEM graduates by one million. Since then, hundreds of thousands of science students have started down the path toward a STEM career. Yet, of these budding scientists, more than half of all college students planning to study science or medicine leave the field during their academic careers. What Every Science Student Should Know is the perfect personal mentor for any aspiring scientist. Like an experienced lab partner or frank advisor, the book points out the pitfalls while providing encouragement. Chapters cover the entire college experience, including choosing a major, mastering study skills, doing scientific research, finding a job, and, most important, how to foster and keep a love of science. This guide is a distillation of the authors' own experiences as recent science graduates, bolstered by years of research and interviews with successful scientists and other science students. The authorial team includes former editors-in-chief of the prestigious Dartmouth Undergraduate Journal of Science. All have weathered the ups and downs of undergrad life--and all are still pursuing STEM careers. Forthright and empowering, What Every Science Student Should Know is brimming with insider advice on how to excel as both a student and a scientist.Binding Type: Paperback

Best mount for Gen 2 Tacoma.
Sturdy, fits good, and simple. Can’t close vent, but I expected it and it’s worth the trade-off. Highly recommended.

Finally a mount for my truck!
2015 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. I've tried many different mounts - ones that stuck to the dash, stuck to the windshield, one that mounted in the cup holder in the console. They all were bad in their own way. This Offroam mount finally got it right. Easy installation - and when I say SOLID hold I mean it. No movement, no rattle, do creaking sound, etc, etc. I was very skeptical of the one-handed use getting the phone in and out but it's really a genius design.
Seriously - I just got it, so can't really speak to longevity yet. Judging by the design and quality of parts, I'll say it will be the last mount I ever purchase for this truck. Pay the extra, and be happy.

Great Quality, Perfect Fit
2015 Tacoma. This fit perfectly and is solid. Last/Different one I had on another vehicle broke one of my vent dividers. That can't happen with this design. Worth the money. Would absolutely recommend.

Well build and functions nicely
The products build quality is excellent; in fact, its far superior to this product's competitor, "Batdiary". This mount stays locked in place when i use one hand to mount my phone or remove it. Also, the internal mechanism is much nicer than the Batdiary one and feels like it has tighter and more accurate machining tolerances which should prevent it from rattling like its competitor's did after a couple weeks use.
I highly recommend this product, it is worth the high price tag!
