A beautifully composed piece from the celebrated Ciro jewellery company, established in London in 1917 and famed for its high-quality sterling silver and paste creations. Ciro signed their pieces ‘SCP England’ for Sterling Ciro Pearls England just like this piece. This elegant Art Deco necklace glows with Georgian revival charm and unmistakable Deco sophistication.
At its heart is a sparkling paste bow, beneath which sits a radiant cluster and a suspended drop echoing the romantic silhouettes of 18th-century court jewellery. Four stylised bow-like plaques anchor the design, each joined by a single paste-set link, adding rhythm and delicacy to the composition.
With its refined symmetry, silvery sparkle and graceful drop, the necklace evokes a world of powdered wigs, candlelight, and Marie Antoinette romance all viewed through a 1920s lens.
A chic and timeless example of Ciro’s artistry, perfect for lovers of both Georgian revival and Deco design.
