Silicon Quantum Dots (SiQDs) are a type of semiconductor nanoparticle with unique optical and electronic properties, typically ranging in diameter from 1 to 10 nanometers. Due to its unique quantum confinement effect, silicon quantum dots have shown great potential for applications in various fields such as biological imaging, optoelectronic devices, and nanocatalysis. Silicon quantum dots are prepared by hydrothermal method. Silane coupling agent and reducing agent are introduced into a solvent with nitrogen gas and mixed, and then transferred to a hydrothermal reaction kettle for heating and reaction for a period of time to obtain silicon quantum dots.
