Continuing Subtext's exploratory electronics and devastating sonics is the expansive Ego de Espinhos, the debut full-length from 22-year-old Porto, Portugal-based artist Gonçalo Penas. Described by Penas as a series of "self-exorcisms", Ego de Espinhos is the cathartic outcome of a highly introspective process. Shaped by opposing forces and instincts, the LP touches on themes that are at once intimate, yet omnipresent. Splendor confronts destruction; id confronts super-ego. Created solely with digital instruments designed and built by the artist, Ego de Espinhos is the result of Penas's improvisations. Tracks such as "Introdução, Umbigo" and "Tecto Falso" were recorded in one take, and evidence a stark, dramatic emotional palette. The release begins as Penas chooses to reject rigidities, customs, and conventions of experimental electronic music. Of his process, Penas says: "Personally, I feel that creation should come from a completely free act of will. It is a place where there should be no rules, no expectations, no rights and no wrongs." In Ego de Espinhos, Penas turns away from his own technical background, and towards a journey of forward experimentation. This follows his education in Music Production and Technologies at Porto's School of Music and Performing Arts. For the first time, he finds the freedom to articulate himself sincerely, unearthing beauty and acceptance amidst wreckage and devastation.

Un mess your kitchen sink mess

Just the exact right thing to gather all the sink doodads into one place. There is a little divider that is movable so you can adjust the sponge holder to your brand of sponge. AND it has a drain spout for the water run off. Very sturdy and handy sink catch all.

Great for organizing sink

We had one of those suction cup sponge holders, but if you have tile that is not completely smooth, it falls down. This does not have that issue because it just sits on the counter or if you have a large sink lip, on there. You can move the inside pieces around which I was really surprised about because I thought it was all in one piece. Being able to move them around is great because then you can adjust it for your own soap dispensers, etc to fit your space. I like that it comes in a ton of colors. We got the white and it blends into our kitchen and looks really nice. This organizes our dish soap, sink drain cover, and sponges nicely and gives it all a space to go in. The tray on the bottom is silicon and removable which is great. I wish I had bought this thing years ago because it's great.

It is very simple to put together and it feels sturdy and I like how it looks. I know everyone's sink is different but it fits mine PERFECT. I'm really happy with this purchase. Good price good value. I don't see why you wouldn't buy it if this is the style you were looking for.

Recommend this it’s awesome !!!
It’s awesome and it works great. The old one I had from Walmart kept getting clogged. It wouldn’t work right this one has yet to get clogged. It holds two of my sponges that I was hoping it would hold a lot easier to maintain and clean, and the pocket was able to hold both of my scrub daddies.
