Psych+- Tropes is a new label from Steven McInerney, the creator of Hackney Film Festival, dedicated to exploring the intersections between sound and it's visual counterpart. Since it's inception in 2010, Hackney Film Festival has set out to provide a platform for a community of audio-visual artists living and working in the East London borough. Inscribed within the grooves of this vinyl convocation is a cherry-picked clutch of them. Now the triple-LP set Vol. 1 is born and HFF evolves: A crucible of images that begets sounds - errant motile sounds whose blind wriggle detaches from the AV mother lode in search of a new synthesis. You hold in your hands an oil-based spiral groove etched with vibrations called forth by cinematic prerogatives. Secreted within the folds of the set's sleeve you will find a tangible strip of 16 mm film with combined optical soundtrack. This film strip is a suggestive random fragment of the visual component made for this release, whose indexical iconography has been shuffled and dealt to you, like some arcane tarot deck. Includes tracks by Sculpture, Will Ward, Some Truths, Spatial, Scanner, Tom White, Sally Golding, Dave Draper, Merkaba Macabre, Mark Peter Wright, Richard Pike, Audio Dependent, Matthias Kispert, About-face, and Synthetics.
Tracks:
1.1 Sculpture - Compatibility Crystal Change - Sculpture

Nontoxic sunscreen
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
Excellent sunscreen! Nontoxic and gentle. I have sensitive skin and chemical sunscreens can irritate my skin, so I switched to this one. It has a creamy feel, but doesn’t make your skin look or feel oily. I have dry-normal skin, for reference. It initially has a bit of a white cast, but once rubbed in you don’t notice it.

Good sunscreen, but the shade didn’t work for me
Color: Medium
I bought the Colorescience Flex in Medium because I had seen great reviews and liked the idea of a tinted mineral sunscreen. The formula itself felt really high quality and it did provide good sun protection, but the shade didn’t end up working for my skin tone.
✔️ What I liked:
- Great daily mineral sun protection.
- Lightweight texture and easy to apply.
- Didn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts.
- Nice natural finish at first.
❌ What I didn’t like:
- On my skin, the Medium shade looked orange.
- The color didn’t blend well with my undertone.
- I had to work it in quite a bit to avoid a noticeable line with my neck.
I think the formula is really good, but the shade selection definitely requires care. In my case, it just wasn’t the right match

Finally found my perfect match!! In foundation!
Color: Medium, Color: Medium
I’ve used many high-end foundations over the years, but Colorescience has become my everyday favorite. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin and provides a natural, healthy-looking finish that doesn’t feel heavy or cakey.
The added SPF is a huge bonus and makes my morning routine so much easier. I also love how perfectly it matches my skin tone, it blends seamlessly and looks like my skin, just more even and polished.
If you prefer a natural, lightweight foundation with the added benefit of sun protection, this one is definitely worth trying.

Worth the investment! It lasts!!
Color: Medium, Color: Medium
I have been using this religiously as my foundation for over a year! I love it. It works best for me when I use moistuzer, let it dry enough so you have a little slip. A LITTLE goes a long way and double check the bottle because even when it feels empty it’s not fully empty :) it’s not a full coverage approach to foundation I use an elf glo setting over it in winter . It’s light weight and the SPF was what I was looking for!

Expensive, but a good product!
Color: Fair
Love this product. Comes out of the tube white but changes color as you apply. I find you do need moisturizer on your face to get a smoother application - I tend to mix it with my moisturizer before applying and it works well. Am currently on my 3rd tube of the stuff. A bit pricey, but for my skin it sits better than most other products I've tried and doesn't make me break out or look shiny.
