• CNC machined heat-treated steel gears for precise fitment and dependable performance
• Heavy-duty 5/16” steel backing plates with bent flanges and welded gussets for additional rigidity
• Dual idler gear design to improve strength and reduce stress inside the gear box
• High-density Kevlar fiber gaskets for a durable seal that resists oil and coolant breakdown
• Dual Output shaft seals and triple input seals for additional sealing surface-area
Fitment & Compatibility
Our Portal Gear Lifts are designed to work with your Defender HD11, providing increased ground clearance and improved overall machine capability. The universal hub design allows for compatibility with multiple wheel bolt patterns, and the backing plates are designed to work with and suspension components that are built to factor hub specifications.
Important Fitment Notes
• When running 4” portals, we recommend pairing them with at least a 1” wheel spacer
• 14” wheels should have no more than 4-1/2” backspacing, and 16” or larger wheels should have no more than 5” backspacing
