Memorial Day is ultimately a day for remembering and honoring those who have died while serving our country. Throughout this 5-day study, we will learn about real life heroes who have given their lives in service to our country. We will see and honor their true heroism—character, strength, courage, and sacrifice—as we strive to raise a generation who will continue to exhibit these qualities. In celebrating Memorial Day, we choose to remember their deaths in order to honor their lives.

What ages is this for? 
This guide is written for ages 5-12, but is designed to be done as a family study, so older and younger siblings can certainly participate.

How long is this study? 
This is a 5-day study, but you could certainly stretch it to two weeks or pick and choose your favorite activities for a weekend-long study. Our family plans to use this guide the week before Memorial Day as a great way to wrap up our homeschool year.
