Vinyl LP pressing. I look like an insider because of everything I've done but I always felt like an outsider, Darrell Scott says. "And that's important - to be an outsider." He's also a master. Witness his ability to make just about any instrument talk, listen to his vocals and songwriting to hear him contain every emotion between joy and pain within one verse in his singing and in his pen. Nowadays he's taking the outsider role even more seriously; after 23 years in Nashville he spent the last year devoting himself to a self-sufficient lifestyle in the country while simultaneously putting together his best album in years. Couchville Sessions is that album, and it continues Scott's long tradition of tackling the profound issues - loneliness, the demise of relationships, mortality - without ever becoming maudlin. The record may explore darkness but there is always light. Scott can sing to us about addiction, breaking up, even dying without it ever becoming depressing. That's due to his writing, his vocal delivery - often erotically charged here - and the careful choice of five covers that he calls tributes to some of the masters. Scott's tenth studio album shows no sign of him losing steam. In fact, he seems to be on fire. Born in Eastern Kentucky to restless Appalachians who moved him out West, raised by a country-music-worshipping single father, he studied poetry with Philip Levine, a celebrator of the working class who would later become the nation's Poet Laureate. Scott has lived the songs he sings: he's worked hard, told defiant truths, and never turned down the chance to pursue love. Along the way he has created an oeuvre of albums beloved by his devoted fans and written songs that became hits for everyone from Dixie Chicks to Travis Tritt as well as being covered by more than 70 others while never shying away from critiquing the industry. The multi-talented Grammy nominee has also been a member of Robert Plant's Band of Joy, won the AMA Song of the Year, named ASCAP's Songwriter of the Year and a host of other accolades.

Great sturdy chair and beautiful color
Color: White
I love this chair. I bought it for my home office. It is beautiful, sturdy and very comfortable. I'm not good at all with assembling even basic things but I would say that this was relatively pretty simple for someone like me to put together. Good price and good product.

Reliable, Comfortable, and Good-Looking Chair — I Keep Coming Back to It
Color: White
This is my fourth time purchasing this Amazon Basics mid-back office chair, which says a lot about its overall value. It looks clean and modern, fits well in a home office, and is genuinely comfortable for daily use. I typically get about a year and a half out of each one, which feels reasonable given the price point and materials.
Out of the box, the chair is easy to assemble and immediately comfortable. The padding is supportive, the armrests are well positioned, and the faux leather gives it a more upscale appearance than many chairs in this category. It rolls smoothly, swivels easily, and works well for long computer sessions without causing back or shoulder fatigue.
That said, this is not a lifetime chair. After extended use, the cushioning and structure do begin to wear, and that’s usually when I replace it. Still, considering the comfort, appearance, and cost, it remains one of the best value office chairs I’ve found — which is why I keep buying it again.
Pros:
• Comfortable padding and good mid-back support
• Clean, modern appearance that looks great in an office
• Smooth rolling and stable base
• Easy assembly
• Excellent value for the price
Cons:
• Durability is moderate; expect replacement after about 1½ years
• Not designed for long-term heavy-duty use
Verdict:
If you want a comfortable, attractive, and affordable office chair that performs well for daily use, this is a strong choice. It may not last forever, but its comfort and value make it easy to recommend — and easy to repurchase.

Good Basic Chair with a Few Drawbacks
Color: Black
I bought this Amazon Basics office task chair for my boyfriend who works from home. Overall, it’s a decent, simple chair that gets the job done for everyday use, especially if you just need something functional and affordable.
However, there are a couple of downsides. The recline doesn’t go back as much as he would like, so it’s not ideal if you prefer to lean back and relax between tasks. Also, after about a month of use, the wheels don’t glide as smoothly as they did at first, which can be a bit frustrating when rolling across the floor.
Overall, it’s a solid basic chair for light use, but if you want something with a deeper recline or super smooth mobility long-term, you might want to consider other options. Still a reasonable purchase depending on your needs.
