The Prisoner Wine Company is self-described as being bold, irreverent and unrestricted by tradition.  Their namesake red blend is one of the most well known wines in the US.  We are very excited to be co-hosting an exclusive tasting of three wines from the Prisoner Wine Company with Prisoner winemaker Chrissy Whitman on Friday, February 19th at 7pm.  The Tasting pack for this event includes three 375ml bottles.  One of The Prisoner Carneros Chardonnay, one Prisoner Napa Valley Red Blend and one Prisoner Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Great writing, rather mesmerizing in its way. The mixture of deep state conspiracy, a smattering of actual truth, and mythical freely pull you in. The artwork is a bit over the top at times; I see the intention behind this, but it harms rather than helps the story at some points. This abstract/high concept art crap could have seriously been dialed back and then better assisted the narrative. Not to say that this isn’t worth the read… I gave it 5 Stars because the tale itself is well told and very riveting.

The Department of Truth: The End of the World is the first trade volume of this series, collecting issues 1-5.
