A jabot pin is a two-sided brooch used since the 17th century to secure fabric on men's shirts. Popular in the 1920s and 1930s, Art Deco pins feature geometric designs with materials such as platinum and diamonds. The term "cliquet pin" was coined by Cartier due to their dual function as both securing and decorative pieces.
