When Carolyn's grown daughter tells her she needs to "get a life," Carolyn decides it's time to step out of her familiar routine as a single woman in San Francisco and escape to her mother's home in the Canary Islands. Since Carolyn's mother is celebrating her seventieth birthday, the timing of Carolyn's visit makes for a perfect surprise. The surprise, however, is on Carolyn when she sees Bryan Spencer, her high school summer love. It's been seven years since Carolyn lost her husband, but ever since that tragic day, her life has grown smaller and closed in. The time has come for Carolyn to get her heart back. It takes the gentle affection of her mother and aunts, as well as the ministering beauty and song of the islands to draw Carolyn into the fullness of life. She is nudged along by a Flamenco dance lesson, a defining camel ride and the steady gaze of Bryan's intense blue-gray eyes.
Is it too late for Carolyn to trust Bryan? Can Carolyn believe that Bryan has turned into something more than the wild beach boy who stole her kisses so many years ago on a balmy Canary night?
Carolyn is reminded that Christopher Columbus set sail from the Canary Islands in 1492 on his voyage to discover the New World. Is she ready to set sail from these same islands to discover her new life?

Small but durable
The bag is alot smaller than I anticipated it to be, and the color is not as vibrant as expected as well. The adjustable strap extends the bag to about hip level. It's pretty sturdy and the side pockets are very convenient. The zipper is a little weird, because when zipped the end sides of if the zipper don't connect with the bag, leaving small openings for items to fall out if the bag is on its side.

Awesome bag!
Color: I19004-coffee
Great bag, so hard to find a good leather bag nowadays. This is it! Love the color, the pockets and the length of the strap. It allows me to use as a cross body with ease.

Smaller then you think!
Color: Dark Brown
This purse is GORGEOUS!
I just wished it was bigger. I guess that’s my fault for not paying attention to the measurements.
Even in the pictures with the models it looked bigger
Not enough room for me so I sent it back

Shipping department dropped the ball
Color: Dark Brown, Color: Dark Brown
I am ashamed that Amazon would claim to be an outfit that deals in luxury bags. The packaging and merchandise handlers really dropped the ball. The purse was very nice and well made. ( with the exception of the long strap 👎 ) it’s a shame this bag was tossed in the box that way I received this leather bag it was all wadded up and wrinkled in all the wrong places such as a huge wrinkle across the bottom. $139. For a bag that’s looks like it’s been in the corner of someone’s closet for months or maybe like the UPS truck ran over it. Not cool. Luxurious expensive merchandise you would expect at least a little care and packaging and handling. Disappointed

Absolutely soft leather
Color: Coffee
I ordered the coffee color, absolutely love it.Super soft- I have ordered brands that cost 4xs as much & returned because of stiff leather. The zippers simply glide.I love all the different zipper pockets, I like having a place for everything, my phone fits perfectly in the back side zipper area. The front magnetic for my key fob.Zipper above to get out quick cash.I had a hard time deciding which color I wanted! It's roomy enough inside but not too big where Im going to carry things I dont need. It's nice having 2 straps to trade out- im starting with the guitar strap- like that it is adjustable straps & on swivel hooks. And you can really smell the genuine leather. For my preference I would have liked it to have been 2 to 3 inches shorter height wise as I was looking to replace a few bags I used when flying but this is perfect for an everyday crossbody. This bag looks very well made. Nothing fancy on the inside. Plan on searching for this brand in smaller size and some soft colors for spring & summer.
