The Atlas® LMA (lawn mower adapter) will transform most 2-post above ground lifts into an easy-to-use lawn mower lift, golf car lift, snowmobile lift, ATV lift, or a small sports car lift.

The Atlas® LMA adapts easily to most two posts above ground lifts that are equipped with a symmetric arm design. The LMA is adjustable in width to accommodate the many different arm configurations found on two post lifts. The Atlas® LMA can be used in an infinite amount of wheelbase configurations (between 32" and 90") to allow the operator great flexibility in lifting different pieces of lawn service equipment with varying wheelbases.

Most of the specialty lawn mower lifts and golf cart lifts are just variations of the economical automobile lift. Golf course maintenance equipment distributors are demanding artificially high prices for specialty above ground lifts that are just subtle adaptations of the very affordable two post above ground car lifts.

When properly installed, the Atlas® LMA can transform most two posts above ground lifts into an economical four-wheel support lift that will accommodate wheelbases from 32" to 90". The Atlas® LMA plates can be positioned ONLY on two post lift arms that offer symmetric arm configuration.

The Atlas® LMA is designed to work well with most two posts above ground lifts with symmetric arms. There are many factors that will determine the SAFE weight capacity of the Atlas® LMA on YOUR lift. 

We recommend that the lift operator DEDUCT 3,000 LB. lifting capacity of the above ground lift when the two LMA plates are spaced at the furthest wheelbase position (90"). When the LMA plates are positioned at the closest wheelbase position (32"), then the weight capacity of the above ground lift with the attached LMA should be DECREASED by 2,000 LB.

If you are using an 8,000 LB. two post lift, and you have the wheelbase dimensions set at 32", then the NEW lifting capacity of the lift would be 6,000 LB. If you position the LMA plates so that the wheelbase is 90", then the NEW lifting capacity would be 5,000 LB.

If you are lifting a mower (or other vehicle) that is extremely heavy on one end, then the operator should position the LMA plate supporting the "heavy" end closer to the vertical column and extend the opposite LMA plate (supporting the "lighter" end) further out on the lift arm to accommodate the necessary wheelbase.

This heartbeat puppy toy is a really thoughtful concept for helping puppies feel comforted during crate training and sleep, especially for very young puppies adjusting to a new environment. The heartbeat feature and soft plush design are clearly meant to create a calming effect and ease anxiety during transitions. The toy itself feels soft and well made, and I can absolutely see why many puppies respond well to it. In our case, my puppies personally were not very interested in it, but I honestly feel that was more about their individual personalities than the product itself. Because the concept is so good and many dogs may benefit from it, I still think it is worth trying, especially if introduced very early during puppy training and adjustment periods.

So when my puppy first came home to me I bought this to try to help him keep calm through the night. He wasn't able to sleep through the night, but he did sleep more than I had expected. The next couple of nights he was able to sleep through the night completely (but liked to wake up at 5 am...). Fast forward to a month later, and I no longer turn the heart on all the time (because I forget). But I did buy a re-chargeable heart because having to keep buying batteries is a pet peeve for me. He still loves to sleep with it as it's another snuggle spot that helps keep him warm (short haired mini dachshund, so not much fur to keep himself warm) in the kennel. During the day though, he loves to drag this thing out of the kennel and "wrestle" with it. He shakes it a lot like all dogs like to do to "kill" it, and he's chewed the tail and nose worn. But the reason I say it has pheremones is that at 10 weeks old (which was younger than my last dogs' puberty age), he's humping it like there's no tomorrow. If I need to get his attention, or keep him out of a certain area, all I need to do is bring this out of kennel, and he's off humping the stuffing out of it. His brother (who belongs to my mother and is from the same litter), does the same thing. So now I have to wonder if they added some pheremones to it so that it's really "lovable". It was actually pretty hilarious because I was face-timing my mother showing her my dog with this anxiety toy, and he decided to perform his first humping act on air. So I'm not sure I can say it did it's main job to calm anxiety, but it did act as companion (in more ways than one) to my dog. My dog is almost 4 months old now and this toy is still going strong... well, the neck could use a sew, and the tail is on it's last leg, but he loves his girlfriend just the way she is.

Anxiety Relief for Elderly Dog

My son and daughter-in-law's 13 year old Chihuahua has been suffering from separation anxiety, and just general anxiety during the covid19 lockdown. While she's in dental school, he's been living with us full time, and she was living at school during the week and with us on weekends. But with campus closed down, there's full-time school anxiety from doggie Mom, and going to work in a plague anxiety from doggie Dad. And nobody has much time for poor stressed out doggie, who barks and whines and is generally unpleasant. The only thing that seems to calm him down is to hold him. All. Day. Long. None of us has time. I decided to see if what works for puppies might work for an old man dog too. Guess what, it does! I started by holding the dog and the lamb on my lap for an evening while watching TV. The next morning I put the lamb in a bed next to my computer while I worked, and he climbed into the bed himself. He never would have done that before! You can't see the lamb in the picture, it's tucked under the canopy. The heartbeat is very relaxing- you do hear it, but it's more like you feel it than hear it, really. I have to admit that the first night when I was holding him, the heartbeat put me to sleep too. When my daughter-in-law came down for lunch, she took dog and lamb back up with her, and he slept with the lamb all afternoon and let her study without interruption. I don't know how long the batteries will last, or how hard they will be to change, but so far this has been a real comfort to an anxious old man dog. ETA- I've ordered batteries (40 for $6.99), and I may order another lamb for upstairs so we don't have to remember whether it's on Mom & Dad's or Grandma's floor. He's a much happier dog.
