The acclaimed survey of the life and works of the celebrated Italian modernist master, Carlo Scarpa, from the highly regarded architectural author, Robert McCarter

The work of Carlo Scarpa challenged, and continues to challenge, accepted notions of modern architecture. While several books have been published on his work, none has approached the breadth and depth of this classic monograph by Robert McCarter, who is celebrated for his meticulously researched, experientially based, and jargon-free accounts of key figures in modern architecture. This book is the definitive study of Scarpa's many accomplishments, including such works at the Canova Museum, the Castelvecchio Museum, and the Brion Cemetery, among others. It features in-depth 'walk-throughs' of a selection of Scarpa's key projects, embracing Scarpa's approach to experientially based design and presents sketches and architectural plans, together with a complete list of works, realized and unrealized, including his much-loved interiors and glassware, as well as the buildings themselves.

Not as Smart or Interactive as You Think it Will Be
Color: Blue
This is an honest review from a schnauzer owner who has has wanted this cheerble ball for their dog for more than one year. I finally bougI finally bought this toy and both me and my dog are disappointed. The settings are...i would say dog friendly as I'd assumed a dog ball would be. What I mean by that is, for example: the calm play setting is muuch too calm. Super light puffs of energy, like a battery is dying. And the playful setting is scary, alarmingly so. The intervals in between are too long. The ball does not bounce. So they just have settings all wrong. The size is good for a large dog only. Do not buy if you have a small to medium dog. I even think the material is okay. I've only had it for a few days so I can't even speak to how the material holds up. Really hoping to love this ball for my dog. It was not the distraction I was hoping it would be so I could work from home while my dog had fun. I'm hoping this can help someone else who's been pining over it. Essentially, it's a $35-$50 well made weighted ball that moves occasionally.

Light up and glow in the dark ball
Size: One-Size-for-Most
Definitely my girls favorite ball 😀. It disappears and I have to buy another one or she goes nuts. Glows in the dark, brighter with more sun. The bounce light up don’t last a real long time, too quick to quit for her but still loves it.

Durable & Bright - Great for Heavy Chewers
Size: One-Size-for-Most
Pros: Extremely Durable: Survived an aggressive chewer where tennis balls failed. Dual-Visibility: Features both internal flashing lights and a glow-in-the-dark "chargeable" surface. Perfect Size: Fits comfortably in the mouth of a 40lb medium-sized dog. Same size as a tennis ball. Cons: Battery Life: Unsure how long the internal flashing lights will last (though it has held up well so far).

Great for night time play!
Size: One-Size-for-Most
This ball is great! It is a 2-for-one light up feature so we love the flashing lights and if she drops it in the snow after those lights stop, we can still find it because of the strong glow that gets its charge from the flashing LED lights. Our first one lasted a few years, we lost it on a trip so now back for our second one so we can keep the night time fetch going! She is a golden retriever for size reference. Any bigger of a breed and I would worry it might be too small for her mouth. It’s a bit smaller than a tennis ball. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and let them have it in the house at night, she walked up to my bedside while I was asleep one night and squeezed it to activate it. Those lights are so bright it was a rude awakening!

Good option for playing at night
Size: One-Size-for-Most
This ball is a good option if your dog likes to fetch at night. It stays lit for about 20 minutes or so, but that is me only leaving it out of the counter, being "charged" by whatever house lights are on. My dog isn't a big chewer, but it seems as though it would hold up well. I like that it is easy to rinse and clean. It seems to be a good value.
