The D8i Disc is constructed of a high-quality, light-weight Chromoly steel that is strong and durable for everyday use and ensures a smooth ride for commuting, errands or longer jaunts on the weekend. The upgraded high-end Shimano Alfine 8-speed hub offers a wide range of gearing and delivers a smooth, silent ride that is virtually maintenance-free, while the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer easy, responsive stopping rain or shine. Daily riders will rarely need to worry about adjustments, maintenance or exposure to rain and the toughest of city streets.
Additional upgrades include our Premium Sport Saddle designed to give you the same comfort and performance of a well-worn leather saddle on your very first ride, a threadless headset, weatherproof grips, and minimalist, mirrored decals. Built to endure the long haul, the D8i Disc comes equipped with our strongest double-wall wheelset with color matching rims and puncture-resistant tires. Removable alloy fenders protect you from road grit and make sure you arrive looking sharp, and the integrated alloy chainguard keeps your clothes clean and dry.
