All compositions by Edoardo Brotto Edoardo Brotto plays Steinway & Sons D274 Concert Grand, granted by Zin Padova and tuned by Adriano Zin and Edoardo Brotto.

88.2kHz/24bit original recording made at AreaMagister Studios, Preganziol, Italy, on January, 16 and 17, 2018, using Ribera R12 and Sennheiser MKH8020 microphones During the recording of the digital masters and the subsequent transfer to disc, the entire audio chain was transformerless. The signal was preserved "flat" and not passed through any processing device at any step during production. The original master was monitored and personally approved by M. Edoardo Brotto, due to the perfect match with the original natural sound of the Steinway & Sons Grandpiano played by himself during recording sessions. Composer, pianist and photographer: three forms of artistic expression, listed in strictly alphabetical order, which come together in one person, at the highest quality levels. And these are three Arts that in Edoardo Brotto are inevitably interconnected: the musical compositions are directly linked to the images of nature that he first "perceives" and then captures with his photographic lens. They are a source of inspiration and his music describes their colors and forms. And finally, the pianist translates these images, articulating them into "sound". The Vicenza-based pianist creates his compositions by improvising directly at the keyboard in real-time, sometimes in the style of some great composers in music history (and this in itself is a significant virtue that in any case presupposes a deep knowledge of the subject) and much more often with an original and unique creative flair. The fact is that the compositions born from these "improvisations" are pages of the highest technical virtuosity, as well as musical depth, no more and no less than the music of past composers who sometimes inspired them in some way. Speaking of the music specifically, I can simply state with serenity that each piece is characterized by transcendental musical and technical difficulties. This is beautiful music where the difficulties are not ends in themselves or mere virtuosity, but exclusively functional to the pure musical structure of the contents and the actual images, "photographed and developed" by his creativity. Finally, it is tonal music, meaning it is understandable to everyone, but by no means trivial: it is music that draws from the great classics, metabolizes them, and derives a new light from them, of continuity, but directed towards the future. Neither manneristic, nor disrespectful, nor pompous or trivial.

Can't wait for the next one!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
My 9 year old loved the story and illustrations. She is hooked on this series and was thrilled to discover the graphic novel. She liked that there are new things to discover from the original Whatever After version of the story. Even though they are minor it was fun for her to catch the details.

So good!
Format: Paperback
This whole series of regular books is clever and wonderful; laugh out loud funny and inspiring. I only wish there were more graphic novels. This is a great place to start though.

Cute graphic novel version of the original Whatever After novel
Format: Paperback
I read this book after my daughter read it for our mom/daughter book club. We've read several of the Whatever After novel series, but my daughter really enjoys graphic novels, so she was excited to see they are converting the novels into graphic novels. This was my first graphic novel. Fairest of All was cute and followed the storyline of the original novel pretty well, with the pretty illustrations depicting the parts that would normally be written as exposition/narrative. I liked when Abby was telling Snow about the fairy tale she stars in and it would show a cloth backdrop behind them. It's also fun to see how Abby and Jonah (brother and sister) will fix the stories they accidentally mess up.
